I get them all the time. Maybe I should start saving some calories so I can have a late night snack. Pretzels or an apple or something...

I do great all day until it's late and I am entering my food for the day. When I discover I need more protein this opens the door for problems. If I immediately go to bed I am good but...

I know how you feel Nuro - try not to beat yourself up over it though. It is a habit that's incredibly hard to break, but you're not the only one who struggles with it. I too find nighttime snacking the hardest to resist!

We'll get there!

I'm also a night time snacker. I think it helps me, personally, to plan my food intake the day before to help me stay on track. I usually allot a night time snack for myself as well. I prefer cottage cheese or mixed nuts. But I always portion my nuts out ahead of time. I love nuts so its easy to get carried away with eating them! Whatever you do, stay away from sweets before bed time. Sugar before bed messes with your blood sugar levels, and when you wake up you'll feel starved! Which isn't a good way to start the day!

I'll try the green tea and go to bed, and see if that helps. On the bright side though, I've been doing good today and eating healthy, instead of eating junk out of guilt. emoticon emoticon

Evenings are toughest for me too - I turn to a big cup of green tea, maybe some fruit or nuts.

Me, too. It's a matter of creating new habits. I'll have a glass of water or a hot cup of tea and go to bed. One night I went to bed at 8:15 (as soon as my daughter did) and read until I got sleepy. Hang in there emoticon

I usually crave food at night. I eat very healthy during the day....and then night comes by and I want to eat everything in sight. Last night I ate two bagels with cheese and smoked turkey breast. I ate so fast that I think I forgot to breath. I am devastated this morning of course. I want to get rid of my nightime cravings.... but it seems like it always creeps up on me somehow..
