I have the same problem with boredom eating sometimes so during such times I learned these two tricks help me the most:
Plan out my entire days food along with the time I will eat each meal
Read magazines, books and websites that deal with anything fitness (found that this keeps me motivated to stay on track)

I have this problem. I walk the dog, but need to do more. Moving to Texas and the move is making me move around more. Once I get moved and get my house in order, I vow to exercise daily. I will have the time to join a health club. I can swim one day, machines one day and treadmill another day.

Help. I'm in a cast for 7 wks now 2 wks to go. I have put on countless pounds and flab due to inablitiy to walk well on cast and boredom eating. It is frustrating to say the least. (torn tendon in ankle, will not be able to return to my love of running and do not like to swim!)
