Today is my Day 1 of Phase 2. I did this about 2 years ago and lost 28 lbs. Lets see how this goes this time around.

Hello, I am at R1/P2/D1 = round 1/ phase 2/ Day 1 of phase 2. All I can say is that I am only on day 3 overall. I am doing the hormone free drops, 10 drops 15 mins before meals, 3x a day. 800 to 1000 cals a day. The loading or "gorge days', day one and two was a bit tough for me. The drops really made me feel NO hunger. And everytime I went to eat( as much as often whatever you want) made me not want to eat. So the beginning of phase 2, day 1 has me excited and energized to finally lose all the weight I gained over the past 7 years. I have lost 4 lbs already. So I am hopeful. I would talk to a place that does this type of diet. I have weekly check ins with the establishment I am going to, plus I can call them anytime to discuss the diet. Its great to have that support!!!! Wish me luck and good luck to you.

To JAMIEFREE28 - since this is your journal, good to know you're doing this the doctor way! I think it's the best way when it comes to hCG.

To the question "what is hCG" - it's human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone that is produced naturally during pregnancy. It's been found by some that if it's injected, it can help with weight loss.

To answer LOVETOLAUGH56 - my opinion on it is that ... well, honestly? I would trust what a doctor gives over what the internet gives. Injections from a doctor are likely to be a genuine product, while the drops you purchase over the internet may not be hCG at all - so not only would it be a waste of money, it wouldn't work!

In addition to that, hCG treatment requires you to follow a 500-800 calorie per day diet, and other various restrictions to diet and exercise. Doing this without a doctor (especially since eating so little has lots of risks) is really not ideal, in my opinion. :) Talking with your own doc will help.

I am considering using the HCG drops or injections with the diet to loose weight but also reset my metabolism, thyroid and help with arthritis and insulin resistance.
Does anyone know about this or have an opinion.
I welcome your comments.
