This has happened to me if I don't eat anything before I run (in the mornings, so this isn't too uncommon.) Now I make sure I eat a granola bar or some oatmeal, something small, before I stretch and go out to run.

How was your hydration up to and during your run? What about eating? It's difficult to say with all certainty. It could be that you were suffering from a drop in blood sugar (this can happen if you run too fast--because the body uses a much greater percentage of glycogen) if you had not eaten in a while or if you were dehydrated. You may have to try timing your eating better before your runs, however, if this remains an issue you may want to talk with your doctor about this.

I went running today and I got to my halfway point (I go total of 3.5 miles) and turned around and did this amazing faster and longer distance than I have done in a long time! I then felt sick to my stomach. Does anyone else get that too in their cardio training?
