I think the general advice is to eat a wide range of colours, though Canada's Food Guide also recommends incorporating orange and dark green vegetables every day.

I think there are healthy foods in every color!

Purple - eggplant
Black - beans
Brown - nuts
Orange - peppers
Pink - grapefruit
Blue - blueberries
