You should not be training for a half on so low an intake.
Training for endurance running, and dieting for weight loss, are not compatible goals.
What is your set goal rate of loss per week? While training you should not be aiming for more than half a pound a week loss. Any loss is going to be marginal at best.
Keep your loss rate low, and keep your fitness 'goal' updated regularly with your additional distance, and you will know that you're eating adequately for your goals.

If you go to Start then under "calories to burn this week", click Change goal (or on the Fitness page, click Change fitness goals). If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a place where you can enter either your daily cardio time or the calories you guesstimate that you burn in a week. Either of these should change the amount of calories SP says you should consume.

I've been given 1200-1500 calories a day. I'm training for a half-marathon so when I workout I can burn up to 1000 calories. Should I be eating any extra calories I gain from working out?
