Hi and welcome. So glad you are here to make a change! Best way I have found to get the calories you need in a day is eat 5 times a day, that's 3 meals and 2 snacks (diabetics should have 6), not a lot at a time but yes 5 times, and no in the beginning you are not always hungry 5 times a day but it is important and your body will get use to it and you will be able to eat less at dinner. Get familiar with everything here and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, support and accountability. Use the team search bar and type in things like your interests/hobbies and/or maybe some health problems/risks you may have, and/or type in the first number of your age followed by a 0 and something. Example - "30 something", good luck on your journey.

i cant seem to reach my 1200 calorie mark daily.. not hungry but force myself to eat.something every 3 hours. what should i do? i dont want to store the fat or slower my metabolism.
