I use it to flavor vegetables when cooking, but not for any weight loss assistance.

I did a little look into this and was told that what both the apple cider vinegar and the lemon change the acid in your stomach to alkaline. This is supposed to be a great health benefit and as a result, weight loss is supposed to follow.

There are no magic cures. If you think it works, maybe it will. Harmless.

I have heard about it....drinking 2 tbsp with 1 cup of water....30 minutes before eating helps....
and it should be apple cider which is unfiltered...

Apple cider vinegar has been credited with a lot of claims......then you always have to consider the "placebo effect".

I do know that when I eat 3 bean salad that has a lot of vinager in it I seem to lose some water weight the next 24 hrs. I might start adding to my tea. Does it have to be Braggs and from a health store? I don't think I have a health store in town.

I've heard a lot about the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar but it's still too expensive for me to try!

Ann Marie Gettleman encourages the use of apple cider vinegar in her book The Fat Flush Plan.

I've decided to try it; I often had hot water with lemon as one of my 8 waters, now I'll have hot water with ACV for another.

I am in agreement with GRACEISENUF7 I wasn't consistent with it, but when I did take it .. it did curb my appetite... and seeing this I want to start it again. I also brought Braggs from the health food store.

I read up on it and tried it. I believe it does work but I wasn't consistent about it so I couldn't give you a complete review on it.

I bought it at my local health food store and used Braggs brand.

I use apple cider vinegar sometimes, especially after eating something carby or greasy. I know that it helps to break down sugar and grease. I know it helps with blood sugar also. I use about a tsp each time.

Yes, heard about this. Braggs is suppose to be the best. They have a book about it.. my nephew was even prescribed this for his allergies. I do shots of it for my nasal passages. Don't know if it burns up calories, but there are no calories in it & you can use it for everything. Braggs!!!!!

I started taking ACV to help with high blood pressure and to help normalize my hormones to help with pms. I had read about it to help with these. Well after taking it for about a month, and not really changing my eating habits and exercise, I started seeing the numbers on the scale go down. The reason why it means something to me is because I had reached a bit of a lull in my weight loss and nothing was happening. I dont have the best of habits for weightloss though so I blame that. Like I said I did not really change anything and starting seeing pounds drop . I lost about 3 pounds over the month without doing anything differently. After not seeing any change inthe scale, I was quite happy. It has encouraged me to get better with staying within my calories range so I can see real benefits along with whatever this ACV is doing.

I suspect that maybe my bad eating habits have been supplemented by the ACV. One of my problems is not having the whole foods and nutrition I need because i eat processed foods. I think MAYBE the raw undistilled ACV/water cocktail might be adding something my body is missing. I am going to continue with the bottle I have to see what happens.

I basically take a tablespoon and a half in about 4 oz of water once a day in the morning before breakfast. Sometimes I have another in the evening but that is not often at all.

Hmmm...dunno about the weight loss, but possible. We have the Bragg book on Apple Cider vinegar helping to cure ailments like allergies, gout, high cholesterol, etc. We'd mix about 2 T. organic cider vinegar w/ 8 oz. water & honey.

I could never stick with it long enough to see if it works, i do know it my be raw, it just taste so bad and the honey , dont help emoticon

It's an old wives' tale, but it's a harmless one. If you feel like you need something to help out, apple cider vinegar is just as likely to work as any diet pill is. But unlike a diet pill, it doesn't cost some ridiculous amount, you don't have to give anyone your credit card number over the internet to get it, and it won't give you a heart attack. Just be sure that you dilute it in a full glass of water so it doesn't burn you or erode your teeth.

I haven't tried it, but I have tried other things, and I can assure you they're a waste of time and money! Use your effort on workouts and meal planning and you'll get much further!!

Apple Cider Vinegar and Weight Loss… How Does it Work?

No one is really sure how apple cider vinegar works to promote weight loss, but there is no shortage of theories.

It is generally believed that the nutrients, enzymes, and organic acids in apple cider vinegar cause weight reduction by acting as an appetite suppressant, by increasing your body's metabolic rate, by reducing water retention, and by helping you maintain a feeling of well being.

it should not be distilled, filtered or pasteurized as these extra processing steps destroy many of the vitamins, nutrients and fermentation products that are thought to be important elements in apple cider vinegar's health benefits and weight loss properties.

I put some in my chicken soup or tea with honey
it also helps diabetes, sore throats

I have heard that but I think you have to have a lot for the supposed benefits. I haven't tried it because I don't think I could handle the taste of pure vinegar. I have also heard that lemon juice can do the same thing. I've tried that by adding it to my water can't say I've noticed any benefit but I do like the taste. Good luck
