I have done zigzagging (calorie cycling). I believe it helps change things up and gets your body confused so the weight comes off and you don't hit a stand still in your weight loss.

Thanks for your response, Courtney. Good point -- I've probably done it unintentionally, too, now that you point that out! I guess that I'm just afraid if I overeat intentionally to zigzag, that I'll cave and not get back on track...I'm going to research it as well and then I'll make my decision. Please post back if/when you try it. I'd like to get as many opinions as possible! :-)

I haven't intentionally tried it, but sometimes I don't track my food until the end of the day and it works out that way some weeks. I have researched it a little and will probably intentionally do it when I come to a plateau.
