I had a coupon for the Yoplait 100 Calorie Greek Yogurt sometime last summer. So, I tried it out. At first, I wasn't too fond of it, but I found that if I let the natural sugars from the strawberries settle in to the yogurt, it tasted better. I like eating it after I work out. I did compare this brand to other brands and found that not only does it have fewer calories, but it also has less sugar.

I like the greek best. It's more filling and I really like the Yocrunch Greek. It's 110 calories and have granola to put in. Can't remember what the sugar count is, but I remember it being better than other greek yogurts.

I like either on, but most greek yogurts have more protein and less sugar so I think those are better

Greek has a LOT more protein in it than the other lower calorie regular yogurts.
I also buy the plain 0% oikos brand the big 32 oz is cheaper. Then I had saved some of the old 5 oz containers and use that to measure the right amount. THen add 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp chia seeds, and 1/4 cup of homemade baked granola that has almonds, cashews, craisins.... I also replace ALL sour cream in recipes for the greek yogurt (enchiladas, tacos, cheesecake!!!)

Last summer when we went to the beach or other outings I would pack veggies and dip and the key lime flavor greek yogurt for my lunch. Last week I found the Caffe latte tastes just like an espresso cheesecake my husband made last month. Great treat.

160 calories for that much yogurt is good in my book. If you like it then eat it. My yogurt is high in calories, but I only have it 3 times a week, so it's all good

I eat plain chobani nonfat Greek yogurt. It is the best invention EVER. Really filling and so good with so many different things,even by itself. 6 oz is 100 calories. I even use it to substitute sour cream. I was so skeptical about this but I seriously couldn't tell the difference when I tried it.

I'll echo the plain Fage 0%. Very versatile. Use it in my morning smoothies, as a sour cream replacement, mix a bit with cucumber for a nice side, etc.

I recently made the change to Greek yogurt: Chobani..haven't had any others and so far I like all the flavors. I've tried peach, mango, pomegranate, pineapple, raspberry and blood orange. Not really a fan of blood orange, too tart for me.

when I compared it to my favorite brand, lime, it had more sugar too. It also costs a lot more than regular.

1. I've come to prefer Greek vs. regular yogurt these days.
2. I generally go plain vs. flavored, but some of the Chobani ones make a great dessert ... like the one with chocolate chips/flakes.
3. I generally have 1/2 a cup, not a full cup.
4. I prefer lowfat to nonfat ... (a) because of the taste and (b) I hate cutting *too much* fat from my diet ... want some for vitamin absorption ... and flavor!
5. I don't do enough of it ... but I like making my own in a crockpot. Saves money.

I make a puree out of fruit (either frozen or fresh) then add it to my greek yogurt. I buy the plain 0%

The taste does take a little getting used to because there is no added sugar, but I find it marvelous

I get a 32 oz container of greek yogurt and add something different each time I eat it. Sometimes it's walnuts and honey, sometimes fresh fruit, sometimes a bit of jam. The amount of sugar in most flavored yogurts is astounding. And I've found that they are unpleasantly sweet to me.

Greek yogurt is more filling IMHO. Get the plain 2% and add some fruit. 1/2 c + 1/2 grapefruit is a huge snack, and its about 100 calories!

The low calorie yogurts have lots of additives in them, I like to stick to the natural stuff.

Since I'm lactose-intolerant, I've been food processing Lactaid Cottage Cheese and adding in ingredients. :) Agree with everyone else--that pineapple flavor is a bunch of added sugars. I'd suggest adding in your own ingredients for flavor.

I am addicted to Chobani mango. I don't think I would give it up, despite having so many calories, but I also love the white chocolate strawberry yoplait light. OOOOHHHHH decisions!

I would definitely go w/ the low fat or nonfat variety of Greek yogurt - I like Fage best &, if you have a Food Lion in your area, their store brand is also quite good.I have a cup every morning mixed w/ vanilla, Splenda & Kashi cereal. It keeps me filled until lunch since it has about 31 grams of protein.

I like Fage nonfat (0%) plain Greek Yogurt. It has a ton of protein and no added sugar. You can always sweeten it at home however you like. I like to add a little Splenda and a small drizzle of honey. You could definitely add pineapple yourself.

A lot of those calories in pre-flavoured yogurts come from the vast amounts of sugar they add in.

Plain yogurt is a lot lower in calories, and so so easy to flavour yourself, I love mixing in cocoa and having it with frozen berries.

I've recently discovered Chobani Greek yogurt, specifically Pineapple. Wow! Amazing. I've noticed however that while it boasts alot of good things it also has alot of calories, 160 to be exact. I love yogurt and prior to Chobani I enjoyed a higher protein yogurt variety which had significantly less calories. I realize that personal preference has alot to do with your choices however I'm trying to decide which kind is really "mindful eating" and in the best interests of a lower calorie, healthier variety that is also going to "stay with me", not to mention be economical.
