i have been enjoying doing hot yoga for 1hr 30mins 3-4x a week. the pounds drop off of mine like crazy. i love it...

I do yoga twice a week after a cardio and strength workout; it is very relaxing

I enjoy doing 10 minutes of yoga at the end of every workout. Even a short session like that, every day, has made me more flexible and has helped me with balance.

Usually I set a timer on my smart phone and do poses that I know. Sometimes I do videos from youtube. Here are a few favorites.

I really like the stuff from the Miami Life Center. It is calming but intense, and the instructors are pretty advanced, but in an inspiring way. They show all different levels of different cycles. I also really like the p90x and p90x2 yoga videos. I am a sucker for ashtanga, so all the aforementioned programs are similar.

my favourite source of yoga videos is They have a bunch of videos, many about 20 minutes long, which I find it easy to fit in. For longer videos, has a free one every week. Those are about an hour long, which I find harder to find time for.

I love yoga! I like doing it after a cardio session. I feel so lose, relaxed, and all together fabulous afterwords. I'll usually just do a short (~20 minutes) sequence in this case. I also really enjoy it when I'm having a lazy day.

The Yoga Loves team has a lot of really great resources for yoga videos (many online ones that are free). When I first started, I did Yoga Journal's 21-Day Challenge for beginners (and right now I'm doing the intermediate one). Some of it can be difficult, but overall it is fairly easy. I really like the different videos!

So I was thinking about incorporating Yoga or some similar workout into my workout routine to increase my flexibility.

Do you do Yoga? If so, how do you squeeze it into your workout routines? What benefits do you get from doing Yoga? Which DVDs do you recommend or like for someone just starting out? I want something for beginners but not something thats going to be boring.
