No. The recipes are online. Why would i pay for another cookbook that collect dust on my shelf?

Yes I would. I love cookbooks!

I would so buy a SP cookbook but I would not spend more then $20 on it. I am kind of cheap and broke most of the time. But I love cookbooks!

I probably would, but I sure hope it comes out in paperback. Some of the big-name-chefs' cookbooks are $35 or more. I really can't afford that.

I probably would buy a spark cookbook. I love cookbooks and hate reprinting out recipes that I like. I'm too messy of a cook to have my computer by me. The only thing I would like is if it had space to add your own faves since there are so many on the website. Accurate nutrition information would be helpful too.

Probably not because I can look up the recipes online by searching for what I want to make and getting many suggestions.

Well said, Calikiki! I would want all the nutrition info as well in my binder. Not just the summary info, bot the ingredients themselves so I could switch out ingredients that I might use instead of what someone else would choose.

I like the suggestion by Juneau2010. A binder would be good but I would want to make sure the recipes clearly spell out nutritional guidelines so people know serving sizes and information. That is very important to me.

I picture a cookbook that would lay flat when opened - maybe a binder so I could add recipes, create my own categories, put recipes in sheet protectors and have a section for suggestions/comments from the Community. Besides, the recipes would include the colorful illustrations and it would be a fantastic book!

Free is great, but I am not going to waste a lot of toner and paper printing recipes on my own. Ultimately, it would be cheaper to buy the book than to print (for me)

probably not when i can get them free from the site.

No, at least when you get the recipes of off the website the food would be something that you want. With a cookbook there will be a lot of recipes that your not going to cook esp with picky eaters.

No, because I print them off of the site and put them in my binder in sheet protectors. This way I only have the ones I cook and I also print out the nutrition info for keeping DH on the right track with his diabetes. So I will buy more printer paper when I need more recipes.

I would love it if a SparkPeople cookbook came out! I use a recipe from the site at least once a week.

12/9/10 11:36 A

I like that idea - my on-line cookbook is not easy to use. But I'd probably buy a cookbook too!

I do just as well printing my out them putting them in a binder so its my own cookbook of receipes I actually like. I do not put them in if I do not like them I get rid of them on my receipe book online and toss it.

I would! I'd like a cook book that contained SparkPeople's most highly rated recipes and also gave diet tips and education. Some of my friends cook and buy healthy cooking books and I would like to be able to give it as a gift. Maybe if enough people are interested, SparkPeople will have a new publication!
