I get it at the regular supermarket in produce and also at the health food store.

It's likely there, in both the fresh and frozen produce departments. When I first went looking for it, I had to really look at the tags, as I had no idea what it even looked like.

Most grocery stores sell kale in their regular produce department ---- right next to the lettuces

Kale is really good, but it can be a bit on the bitter side and isn't as mild as spinach.

Thanks a lot for the response from all of you! You were all correct in your guidance because I was able to find Kale at my grocery store today very easily. Its funny to think that Kale has probably been there my whole life but I have just never paid any attention to it. It makes me wonder what else I am missing that can be found in a grocery store! :)

I am going to try the steaming route when I cook it since I love steamed spinach but when it is about done I am going to throw in some diced tomatoes and diced onion. I didn't find a recipe for that but it just sounds good since the tomatoes and onion will add a little kick to the Kale. I will probably eat a little plain as well just to see how it sits with my taste buds. I normally like green leafy stuff so I don't think that taste will be a problem at all.

Anyway I have a habit of rambling so I will save you all the time and cut this response off! Thanks again for you guys pointing me in the right direction.

My mother is huge on Kale!!!! Eats it daily. She goes to the farmers market, I buy it at the grocery store. They do sell it frozen as well but we prefer all our produce fresh.

Your local super market should carry fresh kale in the veggie section. They also may have frozen kale in the frozen veggies section.

If you've never had kale before, you might want to start with frozen kale. Frozen kale is already precooked. Kale (like collards) needs extra time to cook. You can eat it raw in a salad, but you'll be chewing it for a long time.

Not all stores carry it. Save mart stores do and so does Winco stores along with Food Maxx. Food cos does not carry it.

I've always found it in the produce section, near the other leafy greens.

I but mine at the grocery store in the produce section or in the frozen food section. During the summer months I buy it from the farmer's market.
If you don't see it ask the produce clerk if they have any.

I have been reading a little bit about the benefits of Kale lately, and was wondering where to buy it. I have never seen Kale in a supermarket before, but then again I have never went looking for it so it may be available there without me knowing it.
