I had the flu over Christmas - yuck. I drank lots of Gatorade and slept a TON. Hot tea with honey seemed to help a lot, too. Feel better soon!

Drink lots of liquids and get plenty of rest!
If you have a temperature under 102, try to avoid taking NSAIDs.
If you can, make a doc appointment. I think there is something that is supposed to make the flu not last as long.
The important thing right now is to get better.

...I have the flu for the first time since eating mindfully and exercising but I truly cannot workout as even walking sends pounding to my head.
All I can taste when I eat is saltiness - yuck! I've been trying to eat soups but have been shocked my the sodium content - even in homemade ones!

I know this won't last forever but combined with Christmas it's been 2 weeks since I've been able to exercise.

My weight has gone up a bit and my clothes are feeling tighter. I'm losing the waist I'd managed to create! What I mean is that I'm back to being tubby again instead of having a nice hourglass shape.

This will pass right?

I've tried to watch what I eat but have to say even though I didn't eat all the desserts/candy/chips over Christmas I've still gained weight which has disappointed me.

So I'm still motivated but I could see this Christmas/stress/flu throwing me off course.

Pls could someone share some advice?
