The question I have is has anyone brought this up to the attention of who ever is running the bible study? They might be clueless as to what is going on. Just as a general rule, if I am close to someone I try not to breathe through my nose just in case they do have a strong odor (body or perfume). Also, if it is a guy running it then he might just be trying to keep his own eyes in check and not seeing what others are doing. Once they are told it would be their responsibility to say something to the guy or not. While the guy might need some type of community involvement, they might not be properly equipped to handle a guy like this. So if they do not do anything about it then it would be up to you to decide whether you want to ignore this guy or stop going to this group...

I agree, this is the guy who really needs to be in a setting that is not intimidating for him. He can also learn some social skills there being around others that will not harm him in the process. It sounds like he lives inside his own head; it's time to come out. The staring at women's chest, trust me most guys (including myself) take a peek using some discretion. At least you know what is his sexual preference. Benny
Honestly, it sound to me like this is the kind of person that needs the community of a church most of all. I might pull him aside to talk about the staring at chests thing and the odor, but other than that attending such groups is probably really good for him. The people that stopped coming, well they were probably more there to socialize than to get closer to God anyways.
There's this creepy guy in our Bible study. He keeps staring at single ladies' chests and he has strong body odour. He also laughs to himself all the time for apparently no reason and claps after every song in church service when no one else is clapping. He has mental problems but I don't mind that if he would stop being so annoying!
He also interrupts bible study with inane remarks and questions! It's gotten to the point that some people have stopped coming to our weekly meetings!
