Yesterday, l really went off my diet plan and ate everything I could get my hands on. I was just on a sugar addict binge. Well , today, I weighed on my bathroom scale and I was down .4. Well. needless to say, I am back on track today. I ate a healthy breakfast and did morning exercise. My question is who was that person yesterday. emoticon

I was getting tired of my usual lipstick, went to the store, looked at a whole bunch for 20 min., found one I liked, bought it, and when I got home, checked and it was the same color I've been using.....................................

Or dumbest....Running late, I grabbed some clothes to wash. Half way to work my son calls me and
asks if I've seen his car keys. You guessed it....keys in his jeans pocket in the washing machine. I lucked out though...the remote was not ruined. That would have been an expensive load of laundry.

Laughed until tears fell at my daughter (age 16 weighing only 100 lbs soaking wet) tried to keep me from getting up off the couch to go to bed by wrapping her arms and legs around me to hold me down. It's summer and since school is out she wants me to stay up with her late every night!

Cook bacon outside with my electric griddle and an extension cord to avoid my house getting all smelly. Redneck!

We played Mad Libs with one of our daughters after dinner last night, and ended up rolling on the floor with laughter over some of the responses we came up with. One fill-in-the-blank story was about Super Heroes. Four of the fill-ins named the super heroes. Ours turned out to be:

"Greeting Card Man"
"Captain Afganistan" and
"Spider Gerbil"

Ugh!! You'd have had to been there!

We were out on the patio playing cards last night after a long day of cleaning and we got into a fit of giggles many times. It was great fun.

Rearranged everyone's shoes in an establishment that made us remove our shoes.

Drank lemon drops with my 87 year old mother while on vacation. It was her idea.

Tried a class called "IntenSati" today, it's cardio mixed with yelling affirmations. You feel real silly at first but by the end you're yelling "I am strong enough!"

I was going to a doctor appointment last week and I noticed there was very light traffic. Strange, I thought. Then I noticed our local middle school. Thought it was odd that there were no cars in the parking lot. Where are all the teachers and students, I thought?

Then it hit me, psst, IT'S SUMMER STUPID!

Yesterday I went to the bathroom at work around 10:30am and realized I never zipped up my pants! emoticon

It has been far too long since I have done something silly.

I am thinking about buying a pair of roller skates though...which my significant other thinks is silly at my age, but I think it sounds FUN. I am a dancer and have great balance, so the fact that I haven't skated since I was 12 might not be as much of a barrier as it seems.

The especially silly part is that the thing which made me think about skating is a Shakira video...Loca, from a couple of years ago. emoticon

I'm not sure if this falls into the silly category (more like emoticon ). I got to work yesterday morning only to realize that I'd left my laptop at home emoticon I had to go back home and get it.

singing "happy tails to you" to my three dogs when they wag their tails

also playing hide & seek with them - pretty funny to hide & have them run all over the house or backyard looking for me

So sad, I haven't done anything silly in a long time. I need to fix that and do something silly.

I made my chihuahua, Chiquita do a little dance. It was funny, but she seemed to enjoy it.

My husband took a picture of me hugging a Justin Bieber cardboard cutout at the mall as a joke. Later, while on a business trip, the subject of JB came up, and he showed the picture around to all his co-workers. Talk about embarrassing! I'm not even a fan.

Last year, I left my Christmas tree and decorations up all year. Too busy with other things. I had to make excuses about why they were still up to a few maintenance workers and friends that came to the house during the year. It's easier just to take them down.

We were flying a kite earlier this year, and the spool that the string winds around broke. The kite went flying off and finally the string got caught on something. It was so far away that it would have been impossible to find the end, and the kite was still flying very high. A neighbor that came jogging by (who happens to be a pilot) called the FAA to alert them to a runaway kite, as we have a lot of low-flying planes that come over the neighborhood. Lucky that one didn't make front-page news! It came down by the next morning, TG!

LOL, I thought they were pretty smart. Everyone sells Kool Aid and lemonaide. This was the first paper airplane stand I had ever seen.

The soap bubbles sound fun....

Well, I do a lot of silly things, really- but most recently - about 10 minutes ago I went into the kitchen expecting the water in my Britta pitcher to have dripped down, and I'd left the spout on pour, and my kitchen floor was soaked. Jeez, LaLa. Think already!

LADYCJM - that isn't silly :-) My late husband bought a sea shell 'ornament' which just had 2-3 shells stuck on it in an attempt to make it look like a face. He felt sorry for the little kids trying to make some holiday money - LOL!

Played with my soap bubble wand to see if I could stack my soap bubbles into a snowman for my grandson.
