I'm grateful for my religion. (I'm LDS aka Mormon.) I love how my faith makes me feel. I'm grateful for my family, especially my little family with my husband and two little kids. I'm so grateful I found SP. They gave me hope when I didn't think losing weight was ever going to happen for me. I'm just grateful to be alive and to have accomplished so much in my 29 years. I'm grateful that I got my bachelor's degree and have a career so I don't have to flip burgers or call people to take phone surveys ever again.

I have so much to be thankful for! My hubby, who loves me no matter what, a house that's well on its way to being paid off, family close by, great daily health and level of ability, plenty of money for what we need, a job I enjoy but could quit if I needed to, the internet, general safety and security by living America.

I'm thankful that God has my back. Without Him I would not be able to travel this path successfully. I do believe He has me in His good grace.

Oh, where do I start? There's so much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful to God for being my father, to Jesus for saving me, to the Holy Spirit for filling me and being with me all the time.
I'm thankful for food, clothes, a home, a car, for having enough money to live on and for being free of debt. (There's loads of things I might like to have and loads I'd like done in the house, but staying out of debt is more important.)
I'm thankful for the ability to read, talk, walk, think etc. I could go on for ever - having a thankful attitude is so important for all of us.

Thankful that my wonderful husband created this topic as I think it is a good way to start and/or the day -- thinking about something positive rather than the negatives in life. I am thankful for him, his efforts and our friendship.
"Bad things are like waves. They’re going to happen to you, and there’s nothing you can do about it. They’re a part of life, like waves are a part of the ocean. If you’re standing on the shoreline, you don’t know when the waves are coming. But they’ll come. You gotta make sure you get back to the surface after every wave. That’s all.”

I'm thankful to still be alive; I've been living with cancer for 10 years, stage II breast cancer since 2013, and stage IV since 2007. I just found out today it has spread to the bone in my shoulder, and I have to change chemo treatments and go through radiation again. But I know there are people not as lucky to have survived cancer as long as I have, and I have a great support system with my friends and family. They keep me going so that I have something to live for.

As we travel this weight loss journey and change our lives, we realize the journey is full of highs and lows.
This is a place to reflect daily on what you have to be thankful for that day, week, year, or in your life.
Writing down what you are thankful for or what makes you happy that day actually is beneficial to your health and well being.
Let's see if we can make this post one of the biggest here in sparky land.
I am thankful for all the knowledge and good health this journey has brought to my life.
