I've always been told that you should be drinking half your weight in ounces of water with a squeeze of lemon. Coffee doesn't count unless it is black emoticon

Yes, drink water but other sources like fruits and veggies count too! Some fruits and veggies can hydrate you just as well as water and so does your tea....

Water foods....
cucumber, celery, spinach, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, radishes, eggplant, cabbage, cauliflower, sweet peppers, spinach, strawberries, grapefruit and brocolli, artichokes, watercress, cabbage, onion, even carrots, cantalope, ice slushies made from fresh berries, and also homemade veggie soup (less sodium when homemade.)

Also you might try Ocean Spray Diet Cran with only 2 grams of sugar ...mix 1/2 cran with 1/2 water.

Trader Joe's Has unsweetened Kettle Brewed Black Tea and and unsweetened green tea which are also quite good.

Water detoxify's, refreshes, hydrates. Depression occurs without adequate amounts of water your brain can't produce enough seratonin...maintaining a healthy balance of water keeps our brains functioning properly...helps our kidneys flush out toxins too!

Does tea count as water? I have 2 big mugs of tea every morning (2 cups in each) Some people say that any liquid counts as long as its not alcohol. i have heard that you dont have to drink 8 cups a day, just drink what your body needs. Some say No, it has to be water and water only. I usually count my two cup size of tea as one water.
