l stick with a real ice cream, watch the portion, document the calories in the nutrition tracker, and keep within the calorie, carb, fat, and protein ranges for the day. Right now we have "Real Ice Cream" Turkey Hill Vanilla. We like Edy's and Breyers, too.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out the SP article "15 Diet Friendly Ice Cream choices."
I'm not a big ice cream fan myself (cheesecake is a different story). But the rest of my family are, and I've been buying the Edy's Slow Churned Light in their preferred flavors. Was good to see the Edy's Slow Churned Light is on the SP list in the article. Still needs to be in moderation.

By WW do you mean Walmart? We buy the Great Value fudgesicles, ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream....and LOVE THEM! They're FANTASTIC! And half the price of "name brand." To each their own I guess....
The Fudgsicle brand, itself, makes their own low cal fudgsicle pops and they are 70 calories. Taste just like the real thing. Very satisfying.

I like the ice cream bars dipped in chocolate & toffee bits --- but I want to eat about 3 of them - so I stay away.....

I actually enjoy the WW Giant Fudge Bars - I think they taste just like the real thing and are good on fiber. I feel like I've indulged when I haven't. I like that they are single serve and I don't have to worry about my own portion control.
last summer I bought some plastic ice cream pop molds and made my own fruit bars from crushed pineapple in fruit juice, from strawberries, and from mangoes. Wonderful treats with no guilt.
if you are an ice cream purist ... there are so many great low fat/lower sugar varieties besides WW ....Healthy Choice comes to mind.

I like skinny cow

I don't bother with any of the WW or Skinny Cow or any of that stuff.... I just buy the "regular" and watch my portion sizes. All that other stuff is too expensive. Plus when they reduce the fat or sugar, they generally add a bunch of unpronounceable stuff/ artificial sweeteners, to make it taste creamy or sweet. I'd rather have a little of the really good stuff, than something with a lot of who-knows-what added.

We keep Skinny Cow in the freezer all the time, and Blue Bunny "Sweet Freedom" containers also, they are a life saver, believe me!!! My husband is diabetic, so he at least can have some, but I dole it out..............

First time this week I tried WW fudgesicles and ice cream sandwiches. YUCK! The fudgesicles were cold and chocolate color, not much taste. The sandwiches are very small and very little flavor. Not worth the Price. I do enjoy the Blue Bunny and Skinny Cow. So wondering what other brands of ice creams are tastey, low cal and well worth the money. I don't splurge on ice creams often but looking for something with quality flavor that don't taste like "diet".
