Subway 6 grams of fat or less menu, grilled chicken sandwich w/o mayo (also ask for plain bread, places like Chic-fil-A toasts theirs with butter, side salad w/ reduced dressing.

salad often have a lot of calories. Zaxby's has over 1,000 calories as do a lot of other salads from different places If possible check nutrition information before you go and make sure you try to choose what best fits your daily needs for that day.

be really careful of the salads..especially chicken cesear. my mom thinks she is eating healthy at panera with that and its like 7 or 800 cals..

I agree..when I was on weight watchers, I could not believe how bad the tuna is for you at Panera, I thought I was eating healthy.

There is a healthy fast food? Ok, well if it's deep fried which most fast food is deep fried it's not really good for you and loaded with salt. So I say Subway depending on what you get. I get a veggie Meatless Whopper at Burger King. Of Course it has mayo on it which doesn't help, but I'm not giving up my mayo since I've given up the meat patty. It's actually pretty good. I'd still go with Subway as being the healthiest.

Wendy's grilled chicken, no mayo, toss the top of the bun - that's the only thing I was "allowed" on my old diet (years ago - and it is actually not bad for you - just skip the fries and the Frosty!).

i will say REALLY careful of salads. My mom loves chicken ceasar salad. I looked it up at panera and its 510 cals..yeah no kidding. for a salad.
its the add ins..the croutons, the fat they fry the chicken in or brush on when they grill..and the DRESSING. the cheese. just BE AWARE. and ask questions!!

Wendy's ultimate grilled chicken isn't too bad. Watch out for salads because all of the dressing, croutons, bacon, cheese, etc. can add up to cause you to blow it!

You can have fast food just before you go make sure you find the best options by going to their website. Most places have their nutritional values on their site. Another option is the kid menu. It has smaller portions and a lot of places have healthy option like apple dippers.

Chick-fil-a's grilled sandwich with a Diet Lemonade is a great option. I also recently had an Arby's Roast Chicken no mayo, tracked it later & was pleasantly surprised at how healthy it was! Subway is a no brainer, and Taco Bell's fresco menu has some yummy options...

My kids are just leaving today for their home in the midwest (i live in the east) and they wanted to get dunkin donuts breakfast for us. so i zipped online and found the egg bacon and cheese wrap. at 280 cals and 5 weight watchers points, i added some fruit and it was a filling, low cal breakfast. you can take it even further by getting an egg white wrap.
so there ARE healthy alternatives, just prepare at HOME by knowing where you are going, come online and search (example: Mcdonalds nutrition information) BE PREPARED!!

I think with fast food you need to keep it simple. The less ingredients the easier it is to track. I've elimimated fast food because I've found it is easier to make healthy swaps when I make my own. NIGHTSKYSTAR is right-salads can be really tricky because they put so much crap on them. If I had to pick something the McDonalds Egg McMuffin (sandwich only!!!) gets a thumbs up. I wish they would start offering it on a wheat or multigrain english muffin but it's not horrendous just a little high in sodium. You can always add a bag of apple slices and you have a filling breakfast.

For lunch- Weight Watchers always pushed a small Wendy's chili (no crackers) & side salad. It is filling and the calorie count is reasonable. As always with fast food, the sodium is a bit high.

You can always get a salad..beware of any with cheese, croutons and/or dressing...ask for vinaigrette. and PLEASE beware of "chicken cesear salad" it is usually one of the most calorie laden choices on the menu. And NO fried chicken on the salad!! just a plain garden salad..
fruit cups, although ask if they are syrup packed, that isnt good.
check the places you go, but a "jr" or small burger is your best bet if you HAVE to have a burger. NO CHEESE OR MAYO!!!
grilled condiments, and eat half the roll.
Shakes are a calorie nightmare. they taste like all air but they ARENT.
If its pizza you are after...margharita or plain cheese and veggies is your best choice. NO MEATS. no 25 cheese. plain. yeah. and THIN crust..and ONE slice. unless its those giant slices that could be a lawn ornament..then i would cut that in half. and leave the big bubble of crust.
