That was so nice of her! Sometimes I want to give people compliments at the gym, but I am unsure how people would take it!

I know it made my day and makes me want to get back in there. I would never comment on someone's cute outfit or how skinny they are because that's so superficial, but something meaningful and sincere, like a cool move, heavy weight (I think women really need to hear this.) or consistency in being there would be good.

I'm glad others are inspired by this as well. emoticon

Great! You must have inspired her in some way with your workouts for her to come up to you and compliment you... And good for you to think about paying it forward... It might make someone's day too.

Yeah! Pay it forward! Excellent suggestion. Those compliments really can boost one's morale!

A woman came up to me yesterday and complimented me on how strong my legs are and said she noticed how hard I work and the interesting workouts I do. I'm really struggling with that last 10 pounds so it was a nice boost.

I am definitely going to pay it forward. And if you think of it, compliment someone as well.
