Which is why if I add running to the walking and hit 7.5 k in that hour, it actually gives me the right number--but if I run 4k in 30, it's back to telling me the wrong thing. Got it.

Seems like they could at at least halfs in there (8.5, 9.5 km/min) for those of us who actually prefer to know the km/hr.

Or I could stick to always doing multiples of 30 minutes, so it's easy to calculate! LOL!

It works in mins per km, rather than kms per hour, and doesn't have every exact partial minute.

7 kms in one hour is closes to, but not exceeding, 6.6km/h expressed as 9 mins per km. The next availble listing is 8min/km, which is 7.5km/h, which is exceeding your pace. The entry will always change to the next available pace option that does not exceed the speed you actually went at.

I give up. I don't understand where the numbers come from.

Today's walk: 7km in 60 minutes.

I enter this in the tracker, and see that I did 6.6km/hr. Ummmmm, no. I did 7km in an hour.

Once in a blue moon, it gives me the right pace. But usually it's like this--roughly 0.5km/hr less than what I did.

Does this happen because I use kilometers? Is it converting to miles then back or something? Or is there some other consideration here?
