At different ages, we are exactly at the same point. I started at 350 and am now 295. I can't believe it!!! I have gone from a tight 6x uniform to a comfortable 3x and even though I have a long journey ahead of me, I feel confident that I can reach my goals. Good luck, keep Sparkin' and don't look back unless it's to see how far you've come!!!

Good job! Feels great, don't it! You are irreplaceable to your family, and your good example may be the inspiration that helps your kids to stay healthy, too. (That's a big part of why I'm doing it, too!)
I stepped on the scale on June 28, 2013 and found that I was at the highest weight I had ever been in my life. At 350 pounds, 34 years old with 2 kids, a wife, a bad knee and a bad ankle, I knew it was time to take control.
Cutting out soda, cutting out multiple trips through the buffet line and exercising by walking up to 20 miles per week has paid off. I weighed on Friday and am down to 295 pounds! This is the first time in over ten years that I've been below 300. Happy dance everyone!
