Jumping back on board after having twins 2.5 months ago. It took me more than 2 years go get motivated to lose the weight after my singleton was born and I'm not letting it take me so long this time around. My kids deserve a healthy mom, and I deserve a healthy ME.

I feel for you. My friends have twins and they say it's three times harder than raising one child. I believe them.

My twins will be 13 this month. When they were younger, it was crazy. Much easier now. Some days it was difficult to squeeze in a shower. One thing I noticed when I started tracking was I was eating a lot of extra calories off their plates. Licking the peanut butter off the spoon when making them a sandwich, a handful of goldfish when getting them a snack. When they were younger, it also helped if I had planned leftovers, so I wasn't trying to make dinner every night. If I had a plan I was less likely to get take out or eat junk.

My twins are 1 year old and I just started getting back on track almost a month ago, the day after their first birthday. I noticed that I had gained some weight that I had already lost just a few months after they were born and it was a real kick in the pants. I thought I had been eating relatively healthily and it was a wake up call that I had some work to do. I lost almost 10 pounds by eating 1200 calories a day but a bad cold has wrecked my exercise routine and things are slowing down. I am hoping I can bust through and continue to get in shape.

Like you I am here trying to get on track! My twins are 4.5 but have a complicated medical history and are autistic. Plus I have 2 other girls who like to be on the go! I find that planning is the only way that I can keep my head above water! What is working for you?

Hi everyone,
I am finally finding some time to take care of myself and get back on track with my weight after having twin girls 7 months ago. I would love to get any tips on keeping motivated and healthy food options for the little ones.
