I have just come here to proclaim that I get it! Today is the first day of dieting and exercising MY way. I am only going to do what I know I can maintain for the the rest of my life. I am going to stop comparing my diet and exercise routines to everyone else's and I am going to do what works for me and do what will make me happy. 60 mins of cardio 5-6 times a week isn't for me. Neither is 1500 calories a day. It makes me exhausted, sore, and unmotivated. After years of struggling to keep up with what everyone else was doing I finally understand that this is MY journey and only I should design it.
