I'm working on it :) I figure I won't really know just how bad mine is until I lose a lot more weight since I'm carrying a lot of extra in that area anyway. I don't even care if it prevents me from wearing a bikini this summer as long as there's no visible intertube-bulge in a one-piece lol

I still have mine even after losing 40 lbs. It is hanging on for dear life and I imagine it will hang on right to the end and beyond. I know I will always have it, short of surgery but I would like it to shrink a bit.

I *think* what will happen is that it will hold on even once I reach my goal weight *but* will continue to shrink after I hit my maintenance weight while I continue with core work, cardio and a healthy diet. It may take up to 2 years to catch up with the rest of the changes to my body. So that's what I have to prepare myself for. Just make sure you're doing plenty of core work and exercises to work your transverse abs.

Hold in there. I would recommend that in the meantime you pay attention to the parts of your body that are making huge changes but it could be a long time before you see much change in that area. So divert your attention for now.

Please tell me I am not the only one who had a vaginal birth who has this. This has been plaguing me for almost 8 months now and while it seems to be shrinking (I say "seems" because I don't know if it's really going away or if I'm just adjusting to it) but I'm afraid that even after I lose the rest of my baby weight (46 pounds to go!) it will still be here as a sad, stretched out flap of skin similar to Adam Sandler's in the movie Click.
If you have/have ever had it, does it go away? Is there hope without surgery?
