The problem I have with THAT kind of stuff is legit or not the power of suggestion is a powerful thing. I think I'd rather plot my own course, see where it leads me. Not knowing is 1/2 the fun! It'll all be good so long as you're moving forward and doing your best.

I don't believe in either. Had a psychic reading once and in my opinion she was just using answers to leading questions to draw conclusions.

I do them. I am honest and was born the abilties. I look at as a way to give others insight on things they may not be seeing, and much cheaper than a therapist. I am therapist, minister, and psychic/medium and can't stand when other so called psychics lie to vulnerable people. I only try to help as God would want me to. Those people give us people with real spiritual gifts a bad Look online for Alura Cein if you ever need help. There is another lady named ALura, not me who is in italy. I am in the united states, She is a fake and a con. Read the link in rip off report if you see it when searching my name.
P.S You know they are fake if they ask you for a date of birth right off the bat!

Normally, I would never, ever invade the "guy space" however, seeing this topic, I had to.
I started reading Tarot when I was 14 years old (I am now 33). My mother bought me a book and a deck and told me to "have fun"
As I learned the meanings of the cards and practiced on my friends, I also learned to read their body language. I learned to manipulate the "reading" to what I thought they wanted to hear by paying attention to their facial expressions and the way they "held" themselves.
The Tarot are fun, they are a parlor game not to be taken seriously.
If you are having your cards read for fun, by all means, continue because it is fun. Please don't, however, put too much faith or "stock" in what they say as the meanings can easily be manipulated.

With people who really believe in stuff like this find that they are scammed more times than not. If there are people out there that can predict the future then I doubt they would be in a small shop on the side of the road just barely getting by like most of them that you see...
I wouldn't be against getting a tarot reading but unless the opportunity presents itself to me I wouldn't go out of my way to get one done.

I did one long ago. I believe in them, to an extent. Mainly I look at it as more information to use in life. More information to use in life is usually not a bad thing.

I believe there are people who have true psychic abilities. The police wouldn't waste time or resources on them if they weren't able to come up with useful information that they, the police, couldn't otherwise get. As for psychics and card readers...well...I don't know. I think anyone with a half a brain and a little knowledge can put a sign out front and charge for readings. I'm not sure that all of those are really psychic. I would wager that most of those are scammers. I've heard that card reading can be done by anyone with proper training, so perhaps that's different.
