You will find lots of support and motivation here. One of the best ways to stay active and accountable is to be active on your Spark Teams. Plus, that's a great way to make new friends with similar interests.
Just take it one day/ one step at a time. You can do it!

Hi Tigger,

Yes, by all means, get back to tracking. What really helped me was honest tracking of my food and workouts. I also got a fitbit and that really motivated me to increase my walking. One thing I noticed was that at 10,000 steps per day, I maintained. But at 15,000 steps per day, I lost weight. Also weight lifting helped with losing weight. I have been on a maintenance plan now for 2 years. If I start putting weight back on I go back to tracking right away.

Hi everyone!

I joined SP a couple of months ago with the full intention of "kicking off" my weight loss once again. I did ok for about 10 days then lost every bit of my ambition....again...ugh! I lost about 27lbs a year ago and now about 20 of it is back...Once again...ugh!
I know I can't do this without support from unbiased new friends. All my children have moved out and on their own so here I sit with no obligations....but nary a "spark" of ambition!
I would love some help on how to make this site work to my advantage and start tracking as much as possible....

Thanks for just being there!!!
