There are some people that just have to give it up, I of course have no way of knowing if you are one of them. I had a problem of binge eating for my entire life. I finally made the decision to quit all added sugar, refined, brown, honey everything that didn't come from a vegetable or fruit. Since then I have not binged, I have lost 82 pounds.
If you come to feel like sugar is a toxic substance to you, you may try abstinence. AFter the first two weeks it was not difficult for me. I don't think everyone has to do this admittedly drastic step, but I do believe that sugar can be addictive just like drugs or alcohol. For those of us afflicted abstinence may be the only remedy.
Good luck to you as you battle the white devil

One of the biggest problems I have is limiting my amount of refined sugar. It seems to be in everything! So I try to find alternative like sugar substitues...splenda, honey, agave nectar...still the craving for sugar is still there and I know it's the main reason I can't seem to get rid of belly fat. Any suggestions how to control the cravings?
