roasted red potatoes are the best I'm telling you!!
preheat oven to 420 degrees F
cut them up into chunks (1 potato=about 6 chunks cut up)
put them into a container and spray nonstick spray
put different spices-onion and garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper
toss them in the bowl with a cover on
spray a pan with nonstick spray
cook in oven for about 40 minutes
test the potatoes out with a fork; they should be soft
they're SO good
be careful; you'll want to eat the whole batch!

I love making them with just a bit of garlic powder and rosemary, delicious! I just chop em up and throw them in a pan until tender. One of my favorite ways to eat potatoes actually!

This is my favorite recipe for red potatoes. Sometimes I throw in onion as well:

First I preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

I wash & quarted red potaoes with the skin on, take the quarted potatoes and coat lightly with Oilive oil, top with a sprinkle of Rosemary or oregano and garlic power. Spread potatoes in single layer on foil lined baking pan and I bake them 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Yo can even sprinkle a little paprika ontop or parsley flakes. I love red potatoes they have less starch than the white variety.

Ohh also, when shaking, I add a little oil, and whatever seasonings you like. Parmesan cheese is really good on them!

I do the same as yojulez...the "shake the sh*t out of them" method. You actually probably don't have to shake them as much as I do but...yeah haha. Give it a try!

My hubby likes to eat potatoes every day. He loves red ones. I cut them up & boil them quickly. He loves my mashed potatoes with milk & butter !

I bake red potatoes the same as family had to eat whatever potatoes were on sale and we used all potatoes the same....of course they taste different and all, but just keep your eyes on them and there should be no problem subbing the different kinds.....

This is the process I follow for all roasted potatoes, including red. It does involve boiling them first:

I haven't had a problem. I usually quarter them and spray lightly with cooking spray or liquid margarine (but very lightly).

Any suggestions on how to bake them?? I have failed every time I try to roast them. They come out over cooked or undercooked. My Mother in law said boil them first, then put them in the oven??
