everyone can meditate, sit quite for a few seconds, or minutes, (floor 0r bed) cross legs, sit straight, play soft music for back ground if you have trouble clearing your mind, think blank slate, let your self relax, go deeper into it, think of the clouds, as the slowly move, a swing with a young child going back and forth, let your self blend into the music or clouds.

I'm one, and I don't know why I have a natural inclination to meditation. I just love doing it. It makes me feel calm, and I'm sure it has helped me to stay healthy as well. The very least it can do is to help me sleep better. I don't do guided dictation. I just focus on my breathing.

I'm curious to know if anyone out there in the Spark world is finding meditation helpful. I am a true believer in mind over matter and have been using guided meditation along with visualization recently. After several weeks of healthy eating, plenty of exercise and diligent tracking I did not start seeing the numbers on the scale go down until I started to meditate. I guess it's a "If you believe it you can achieve it" scenario. emoticon emoticon
Please share your experience with me. Divine intervention, perhaps?
