Wow! I am impressed. You are transforming in front of your/our eyes. I love your "object in motion" philosophy. It will see you through to a complete new way of life for the rest of your long life. What an excellent example you are to everyone within your reach. Again, wow.

I predict you will eventually reach the 120s. It is inevitable, since you are on a foolproof course of action. And, as I can surmise from your fitness points, you are exercising, also. Eating less and moving more. The secret's out!

Spark On! Forever!

What excellent progress - not only on actually dropping the pounds but on shaping up your outlook and attitude. I think that's what really carries us through and makes the lifestyle change sustainable. Keep on Sparking!

Two and a half months of tracking what I eat and making efforts to be more active on a regular basis, I am feeling great!

When I started, I felt tired, heavy and somewhat depressed. It was difficult for me to get up and moving and I found myself always wishing for a nap. I'm a bit of a geek, but the mantra I began to repeat to myself was "objects at rest stay at rest, objects in motion stay in motion." I had a choice, remain "at rest" and expect no progress, or begin to get myself "in motion," knowing that a little motion could create a lot of momentum.

It began with getting out of bed early to do the dishes or laundry and evolved to walking the dog and a weekly Zumba class. This soon became two Zumba classes each week and I learned to schedule out my time so that there was no way I could miss them, or make excuses not to go.

This motion, setting small goals, continued as I found other ways to connect with my body, via healthy whole foods cooking, Yin Yoga and mediation.

I began to think about all that I could let go of- unhappiness, discouragement and the feeling that I could never be other than what I was. I gave myself over to the process- working to set things in motion and each day trying to let go a little more.

There have been up days and down days- times of success and stagnation, though I am learning more about myself and who I can become when I give myself up to potential and not what currently is.

In my mind, I have met a landmark today, officially getting rid of 20 pounds and one third of the way to my goal of loosing 60 pounds by mid December. I commend myself for the progress that has been made, knowing that this is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new life.
