Bought a really nice shirt yesterday that is actually too small. Will be a reward for me when I get to that size . Am I nuts or was that a good move ? I thought it was a good move at the time of purchase ,and did have one that would fit me now in my hands....
I use time to myself as reward - but beyond that here are some things that have worked for me after achieving a goal (usually not pounds - usually days of doing something or miles walked in a week) - mani/pedi, message, facial, new hair color, new purse or bag, new shoes, a new book for my Kindle, new earbuds for working out, new piece of workout clothing...

For a lot of people just the health improvements or weight loss is motivation enough, but I find that for me I can lose site pretty easily of my progress and start to backslide (especially in emotional situations).
So what sort of positive reinforcement would people suggest? Trips, treats, etc? I am considering a big reward at the end of September for 1. surviving my divorce (assuming I survive) 2. finishing school and 3. Getting down to 180-185. A trip to Antigua or Barbados, something like that. I am looking for ideas for smaller rewards between now and then, though.
