Perhaps you're trying to do too much too soon for your body to handle. You want instantaneous results and well, weight loss just isn't that simple. Wish it were.
Instead of trying to do everything at once, why not slow down and take smaller steps. Don't look at weight loss with an all or nothing mentality or you will end up failing. Anything healthy you do for yourself IS a step in the right direction.
So, why not start with some simple changes you can stick with ? If you're not used to exercising for 60 minutes a day, don't do that much. Instead, how about starting with a 30 minute walk ? cardiologists will tell you that walking for 30 minutes each day can reduce your risk for heart disease by over 30%. If that seems like too much, then break up your walks or workouts into shorter segments. Three 10 minute walks still adds up to a 30 minute walk.
As far as what to eat, be sensible. Use common sense. There are no quick ways to lose weight fast. get that notion out of your head. weight loss is a slow steady process that takes time. the slower you take it off, the more likely it is to stay off. Remember, this isn't a diet. it's a lifestyle change and change take time. thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
All things in moderation.

I have struggled with my weight for 20 years. Up and down, unhealthy, healthy. I have the biggest problem with patience. I have unhealthily lost significant amounts of weight and have been significantly sick because of this. And each time I find myself back in the same place of needing to lose weight. I don't want to wait....I want it now, but I am working on this as "if you do the same thing you get the same results." So, my goal is to take one day at a time, eat as healthily as I can without falling into all or nothing thinking, and to exercise, which I love. This is sooo hard!!
