I'm not retired yet so I have a list of goals everyday. We are exactly the same because I have to focus on reaching one goal and the most important--what's important for me. I get lost in accomplishing goals for everyone but me. Therefore, I'm headed down to the basement to exercise right now. Just know I like the post--one goal a day. I need that reinforced each morning.

Each morning while still in bed, I formulate a plan for all the things I want to accomplish for the day. Nothing overwhelming, just simple things and since I am retired I think I should be able to get things done. All is well until my feet hit the floor !! emoticon It's all downhill after that. Maybe if I didn't like to have such a leisurely breakfast, I would do better. emoticon But, since joining SparkPeople, I have a new sense of determination about everything. So,please wish me well, SparkPeople. emoticon

I almost finished yesterday's goal, but ran out of thread to complete top stitching. I have more than one thing to do each day, but if I can name the most important one and finish it, good.

Great but I usually have more than one task that I need to do during a day--grocery list must be done so tomorrow I can get there, laundry that must be dealt with before it is needed tomorrow. So maybe this is those "goal" things--then it makes sense.

I recently saw a suggestion on how to organize one's life. It was to simply forget the long lists and make one goal a day to achieve.

My goal today is to finish the kids easter pajamas.
