I love my Nutribullet. I always start out with a mixture of baby spinach and baby kale (about half the cup) and then add my fruit, flax seed, almonds and liquid. My favorite is greens, pineapple, pear and banana made with a mix of unsweetened almond milk and water. So delicious and filling. I haven't had any problems with leaking but I'm careful not to go above the max line with my liquid.

Sorry to hear yours died yesterday. Mine started making laud noise and also started leaking? maybe I was putting it too much ingredients or liquid. Good news for me was I purchased at Bed bath and beyond so I took it to store and they were happily to give me a new one. I love my NutriBulet it's easy to make smoothies and easy cleaning. Can't think of any other blender does great job as this one with my budget.

Mine died yesterday and I was sad because I really did love it, but decided not to buy another of that company's products.

I bought a nice blender, saved $65 and really love my new purchase.

Loving ours. We even are liking the Super Boost powder from Nutribullet. My boyfriend makes the cups up the night before and in the morning I add my liquid (usually water and 100% pom juice) and drink while at work. emoticon

Sounds yummy! I make my smoothie every morning with mostly veggies and half banana, veggie protein powder or Greek yogurt. Also my favorite way to use NutriBullet is for making home made salad dressing. I put handful of almonds, jalapeño pepper, couple of dates, garlic clove, apple butter, almond milk and water.if I want more sweeter taste I add some honey. It is much healthier then the one you buy at store and you can experiment many recipe of dressing and smoothie.

I love my nutribullet, have been using it for about a month now. Mostly veggies with water as the liquid, but last week I made on with a pear, spinich, celery, a carrot, sunflower seeds and a TBS of cocoa powder with Almond milk, it was amazing. Great way to get an easily digested nutritious filling meal, no artificial anything. The color or texture doesn't bother me, I just can't get my family to try anything! :)Now I'm adding more exercise and I hope to get rid of some of this weight!

I've used mine a few times now and am still tweaking the balance between veggies and fruits and trying different combos. I want to maximize the amount of veggies I'm getting, so I'm not able to mask the veggie taste but it's still an adequate way to get my nutrients in, since I don't eat veggies any other way. So far, the best recipe I've used is kale, broccoli florets, strawberries, half an orange, a banana, and flax seed. The banana helps a lot to mask the veggie flavor but I can still taste it. I think I've got more energy since I've used it, but it's still too early to tell. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I bought the nutri bullet and I love it. I do almost everything with mine and everything has turned out great. I have had no problems what so ever. I was using the magic bullet before I got this and I liked it but it wasn't big enough to handle everything. I would reccomend this to anyone.

After I've got my NutriBullet my Ninja got put a way! What a difference it makes for smoothie. No more bits and peace that needs to chew on when I was using Ninja. I love NutriBullet and I've ordered extra tall cup and extra blade set.

I make my protein/berry smoothie every morning in my NutriBullet. Haven't skipped a day in over 6 months - I love it!

8/26/13 2:57 P

I have tried a number of blenders including the Magic Bullet, but none compare to the Ninja. This is the only blender I've used that is able to pulverize ice and frozen fruit easily. I recently used it to blend kale into smoothie form and it worked great. It whips sweet potato into an airy smooth form that's much more delicious than mashing, without a load of butter and milk. If you have replaced mashed potatoes with mashed cauliflower, this makes the texture much better. When making meatballs, I use half meat and half fine-chopped onion/carrot/mushroom from this blender. It's great for sneaking more veggies into meals if you want to eat healthier or have a picky child or spouse.

Great postings, I use a blender almost daily and have considered the NutriBullet, looks like I'll have to buy one.

I sampled a green smoothie made by a vita-mix at the store. Could not taste the spinach. They put in apple, carrot and pineapple which was sweet flavor that hid the spinach I think. But the whole thing was green. Not sure I can drink green, LOL

The vita-mix is insanely expensive for being a blender. Sounds like the nutribullet has quality issues. Guess I'll keep waiting. My old Hamilton beach goes from low & slow to high whip... I just wish it did real hard items more easily like ice/nuts. Someone suggested getting a coffee/spice grinder and pre-grinding the nuts. I might try that.

I have just ordered one and waiting on it to arrive. My parents have a Magic Bullet and they are so happy with it.

I do have one question. I know it seems several of the recipes mix your vegetables in with your fruits. I am going to be honest, I am not a veggie lover. But, I have always heard you can't taste the veggies in these smoothies. What is the experience of others as far as taste?

I really like mine. It helps me get my fruits and vegetables in a form that is easier for me to absorb and deal with. I enjoy all the leafy greens and like to try various fruit combinations.

I have one - It does not perform as advertised. Blades are dull & instead of slicing the veggies are beaten to death. Don't waste your money.

Hi guys, I finally got it!! My very own NutriBullet. And this morning I made my very first NutriBlast!! Wha-oh, what a difference it is to compared with my Ninja. My smoothie now is so creamy and smoothie Yay!!. *\(^o^)/* I felt like I was eating micro salad instead drinking smoothie before. Woot woot!! It was so worth convincing my DH and bought it for our health. He loved the NutriBlast I made for him this morning. I now planning to mill flax seeds and make some delish granola bars. I love my NutriBullet.

Hey! As far as leaks go, to my understanding it will leak if you over fill it. Fill it to the top with veggies and fruit and such, but when you add the water, do NOT pass the fill line. You'll be good to go! Stay a little under the line and you'll be sure stay leak free. :)

well well well - i went to where i had bought the nutribullet - six months ago - apparently there is now a WHOLE NEW VERSION of the blades and somethings in the design. I WONDER WHY. not so hot comments - some of which very validly like myself about the facts - not easy to twist off and on, leaking, and blades not pulverizing down to liquid as they show on the informercial.
i am investigating the vitamix ($499.00 a little steep for me) and the Ninja with the different blade system - except it has the twist design as well - so i am asking if any body out there has RA and Fibro but uses these last two kitchen products with little or no problems.

I've had my NutriBullet for 2 weeks now and I love it. I finally enjoy smoothies, and it's so quick and powerful. Much more powerful than the magic bullet, and larger too. It crushes everything and I'm looking forward to trying the veggie smoothies soon. We did try it this weekend for a margarita as well, and it turned out great, quickly.

I do not own this item but always wanted to get one - after reading all the great things about it I think I may buy it when funds allow. I do make smoothies almost everyday but use a blender for it because it does the job of crushing the ice & fruit. But I would not even think of putting veggies in the blender - would think I would end up with a mussy mesh.

Have a great Friday everyone - emoticon

I just bought the Nutribullet today...previously had an expensive juicer...which wasted a lot of skin and nutrients from pulp. First thing I made in it (this evening) : Spinach, banana, pineapple, apple, blueberries, and flax seed meal. It was AWESOME! Even all 3 of my kids, ages 11, 7 and 4 liked it. I plan to replace 1 meal a day with a nutriblast drink. I would reccommend it.

I bought the NutriBullet but haven't used it intimidates me...I'm afraid I won't twist it on properly and things will leak everywhere...I keep hearing about that in comments. I'm trying to work up the courage to use mine. I did buy the 2 year warranty.

We've had the Magic Bullet for years and it is plenty powerful for milk shakes
or iced coffees.

Today I got the MagicBullet® NutriBullet™ whch is a lot larger and more power-
ful and breaks down anything you put in it, from fruits and vegetables to nuts and seeds and mixes it in a really nice and creamy emulsion.

A HUGE difference.

I will still use the Magic Bullet for my milk shakes and iced coffees, but for the fruit and vegetable NutriBlasts™ I absolutely LOVE the NutriBullet™

PS - I bought mine at WalMart @ $100

I can understand the twisting issue with arthritis, I just wonder how much you researched the Nutribullet before buying it? The Nutribullet works because of the shape of the cup, forcing food back down into the blades, that's why it works so well but that's why its designed this way. You may need to buy a blender or processor that works with your needs.

I haven't had my Nutribullet long, but I am in-love with it! I love all the recipes as well and feel the positive effects of this system already. I am impressed with how quickly and effectively it "extracts" fruits, vegetables, and nuts! Its the best way I've found to really incorporate more nutritious and fulfilling foods into my diet!

I have one bought it about 3 weeks ago I also bought the tote bag and extra blade and cups to make it easier to travel with since I also use it at my 2 different jobs and at home

I have chopped up everything with it even almonds and it is almost in powder form and I add it to my drinks all the time I have at least 3 drinks per day ( and eating 2 small meals) and so far have lost almost 25 lbs

Yes it is plastic it is designed to be light and to twist it on to blend it is very easy and you do not even have to twist if you just hold down it (yes you have to make sure the blade assembly is on correctly) it will start working you just twist it so you can let go and it work on its own

If you are worried about the moter get the extra warranty ( i got the 25 year extra warranty) I plan to use it a lot

if you love fruits, yogurts, veggies, YOU WILL LOVE the smoothies and even frozen smoothies, yes it pulverizes ice cubes!!!

Your analysis is spot on. Since you already have a Nutri Bullet go ahead and use it until it gives up the ghost. After that look into quality high power blenders. Vitamix and Blentec both make amazing blenders that can liquify almost anything.

BROADBRUSH Posts: 1,806

I just bought a nutribullet - i have a juicer - but it is old and a lot of the pulp etc is wasted. i have a blender but it won't grind whole almonds etc when making a smoothie.
so far my complaints have to do with the awkward way you have to twist everything. i have arthritis in my hands and have to have ease when twisting and turning is involved.
the first think i noticed is that if you don't REALLY TWIST THE BLADE component - water will leak out which is prohibited for the motor. once you have that in properly - (how long will those gaskets last?) then you place it on the motor but you have to TWIST AWKWARDLY again for the motor to run - which i have not been able to do. i think a little button or switch would be a better idea.
what would be left is to lift if OFF the motor base - and hope you can turn it upside down and TWIST the blade to get at the contents.
i also find the plastic components are not heavy duty acrylic - they look thin and cheap as if they would break quite easily.
so that's my critique - and i am thinking of returning it -
PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF YOUR EXPERIENCE AND OPINIONS and if you have any tips i would appreciate it. thanks
