This is fantastic! Thanks so much Redpeppers for the link, as well as the other comments. I will try to make some this weekend or early next week. I LOVE peanut butter, but since back on the healthy kick, to much fat! So, I can't wait to try this alternative. :) Thanks again!

My favorite is cashew butter then almond butter then peanut butter. More specialized produce/health food stores carry different kinds of nut butters. Almond butter is now quite popular, so you can find it in many more stores. You can use them like you would peanut butter. I've put them in smoothies with banana, on whole grain english muffins, with an apple, or on a whole wheat tortilla with a banana all rolled up.

Nut butters (such as peanut butter, almond butter and cashew butter) are commonly sold in most grocery stores.

I just recently started reading about nut butter. So I was trying to find somewhere that might sell it. But I think it is something that you make, right? I would love to hear from anyone that has tried it, made it or found it somewhere so I can learn more about it. I am not a fan of butter, but my dr. told me years ago to include this on my foods b/c i have low blood sugar issues. I've since learned how to regulate my diet better and I don't have near the issues that I once did with it. Losing weight has definitely helped, too. But i would like to try the nut butter to increase my protein intake and make certain things even yummier. So if you use it/eat it, what kinds and on what? Thanks everyone!! :)
