Just like any other class, you have to learn the moves. First time I went to Zumba, I was an awful mess. Someone even commented on it after the class! But in a supportive way. She reassured me I'd get it. And she was right! I just needed to keep at it. Even though I've since quit Zumba, as it's not for me, I'm glad I stuck to it until I started to catch up and be able to go along with the moves better.

personally I would not worry about it any. I would just go and do it. I am sure that you will be fine.............. It is about learning as you go along. I went to weight lifting class and some others were farther along than me and I did just fine.

I'm joined a martial arts/kickboxing gym and it is so different from any other gym I've ever been to. First off, they are serious about kicking butt in fitness. I started kickboxing classes because I need a "kick-in-the-pants" and boy do they deliver!

My only concern is that it will be difficult for me to learn in a class setting as they all seem to be much further along than I am. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to help me learn more on my own, even though I do not have the same equipment. Thanks!
