Welcome to Sparks!! This site is awesome. You meet so many people and they are all supportive. I have been struggling with my weight for several years. I have found it helpful to have someone to lose weight with. To keep me motivated. I also found out for me personally I do better when I do a diet that is spelled out for me. I tried the HCG diet a couple different times and lost a bunch of weight, but after it ended I gained some of the weight back. That diet was too extreme. I ran across a diet that is more feasible and realistic, it's called Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. I bought the book off Amazon.com it was less than $10.00. I started this diet on July 27, 2013 and I have lost 18 pounds so far without exercising. With this diet though you must like veggies, fruits and nuts/seeds because that's what the diet consists of. But if that's not for you there are a lot of things on this web-site and a lot of people to help you. Create a Sparks page, post on the forums, join a Sparks team, join a Sparks challenge. Hello I am a single mom of a very active little girl, I have a tendency to focus more on the needs of my daughter which is how it should be, but I tend to neglect my own needs. I am finally determined to look after myself I need to get healthy for my daughter's sake so I can be around for a long time. I am new to this site and appreciate any advice anyone may have on what worked for losing weight.
