This was actually the topic I talked about with my trainer at the gym this afternoon. I'm not one for having protein constantly but she did say to make sure to have protein with every meal and for me that is 4 small ones throughout the day and if i can instead 3 main meals with 2 snacks instead. Her suggestion to me was protein shakes for my snacks and that's what I'm going with because they're loaded with 30g of protein and only 170 calories. I know you aren't super into meats but do think about seafood if you like that better than red meat and chicken/turkey and also eggs are a source of protein as well

I need some suggestions on how to get more protein in my diet. I am always way under my range. I don't eat much meat at all. I need things with a lot of protein but not much fat. I like peanut butter which is a good protein source but sometimes it puts me over where I want to be in fats. Thanks for any help!
