I wouldn't purchase swordfish if I didn't like fishy fish. The most mild tasting fish (IMHO) are talapia and sea bass. Both of these are great lightly broiled w lemon and a little olive oil, S+P and perhaps a shake of Parmesan cheese on top.

I have bought swordfish from the seafood dept. a few times..if its a thicker cut, try outdoor grilling (use the grill pan) or broiling it with a little butter and Old Bay seasoning. A Fishy smell or taste means you have purchased a fish thats been around in the refridgerated section a few days, Fresh Fish should never smell or taste "fishy". Frozen fish can also smell fishy if its old. sometime a quick rinse with lemon water or apple cider mixed in water before cooking can help the fishy taste. I know, I used to work in a seafood dept of a local store.

I bought some swordish frozen recently, but realize I have no idea how to prepare it. Can someone help me? I don't really like my fish "fishy" so something with the ability to hide that taste some would be great! Thanks so much
