Hi All,

I'm getting to my fiancé after nearly 11 years together. We are getting married on the 6th May 2012. I started my weight loss plan on the 1st January and weighed nearly 12 and a half stone and a size 16 - 18! My weight seemed to escalate after having our daughter. I ordered my wedding dress last saturday and have managed to order a size 10 and have lost over 2 and a half stone. Just need the motivation to keep going as I have another 7 pounds to go as I want to look even better in my dress. Would be great to chat with you all and see how everyone else is getting on. emoticon

I'm getting married in a year and I am just as excited! Planning is really stressful, but a lot of fun, too. My fiance and I had a great time finding wedding reception sites and we just settled on a beautiful historic hotel that is (surprisingly) way below our price range. I'm not necessarily set on losing weight before the big day (although it would be nice to drop 10 pounds, I'm not holding my breath) but I am trying to maintain and establish a healthier lifestyle for myself and my fiance so we can live a long and happy life together. I've picked up running and he's picked up... watching the TV haha

I've been engaged for a little over 2 years now. We had a date set for 10-10-10 but we faced some money problems and things were not getting done on time so we post poned and have not set a new date yet. But I am glad to hear things are going well for you. It is definitely exciting, especially when you like to throw parties, like I do lol. It does get overwhelming though, I think if I could afford a planner I would prefer to have one instead of all the stress being on me. I think my favorite part of the planning is trying on dresses. I am in love with the mermaid style dresses. I bought my dress already, which is not mermaid style, lol, because I don't have the body type for that style Bummer lol

Yep as the day goes by a lot more gets done. I'm still working on reducing my weight to get to fit my dress. Have just booked the honeymoon site and have arranged for a honeymoon package which my partner doesn't know fo till we get there. So yeah it's going well. emoticon

As the big day gets closer I cant wait. There has been a lot of prep work but it has been easy with my fiance's help as well as toning up so my dress will fit comfortably.I am getting in shape and trying to have some fun with it.

As the days go by I see the big day unfolding. There has been so much prep work as well as loosing weight so I can fit into my femme dress. I'm getting there and having some fun. emoticon
