You could also find a buddy to go with you. You could also try doing a workout indoors. It's important to feel comfortable. But if you feel you can do it, go for it!

You are very right! I am simply an anxious person. Once the sun is up I feel capable and I stop worrying. I've been making it out to eh gym on our campus during lunch. It has a ton of windows and natural light.

I'll have to keep trying out this morning thing though. =)

What are you anxious about? I tried going to the gym a few times before the sun was up and I was anxious about going out. Are you doing your workouts outdoors or indoors? Try to figure out what's causing the anxiety. Also, anxiety is fear about something in the future. If you spend time worrying about what is GOING to happen, instead of living in the moment, you'll take away your ability to enjoy the present.

The morning may be, as much as I hate to say this, the best time to get a work out in if I can't during lunch. The toughest part for me though is not my energy level, but my emotional state. I wake up very anxious and don't usually feel better until the sun has come up.

Any tips on what I can do to break through this?
