When you need a refreshing low calorie snack......nibble on 1/2 cup of sliced cucumbers for just 8 calories and 2 grams of carb. A cucumber has only 45 Calories
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and 2 teaspoons of lite ranch dressing mix. Spread on one side of dark cocktail rye bread..... each slice of bread. Peel cucumbers.... thinly slice and place on 6 slices of dark cocktail rye bread. The rye will help keep you full. Have half and half later.
1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes for just 13 calories and 2 grams of carb or strawberries swirled in a tablespoon of fat-free plain Greek yogurt or a medium-size radish has just 1 calorie. Celery is good too with a lite slather of Peanut or Almond Butter or a dab of cream cheese.
1/4 cup, which has 20 calories and 5 grams of carb...add some skim milk and sliced almonds.
Baby carrots in 2 tbs of lite ranch dressing....

I had a quick peek at your Nutrition Tracker going back to just before the end of January. Are you entering in ALL your Nutrition? Because, if you are, there are many days around 1000 calories or less. If this is correct, you are actually UNDEReating which is counter-productive to a healthy weight-loss..

I told my doctor that sometimes I binge on foods I really like and he said "Can't you binge on celery?" So that is what I try to do... LOL right?
From your post it sounds like this will be a short term medication usage.
For now... Stay at the lower end of your carb range. Stay at the upper end of protein---push protein for hunger control. Also, keep sodium to less than 2000 mg daily.
For protein: lean meat hard cooked egg pouch tuna greek yogurt string cheese beans, lentils, legumes nuts and peanuts

My doctor put me on a round of steroids to help with a sinus infection and the biggest side effect it has on me is that it makes me hungry ALL the time. Does anyone have any good ideas on cheap, quick snacks that won't break my calorie intake for the day?
