I agree with the previous would be like trying to make a healthy shortbread. It is hard to substitute for butter in baking and 2 sticks is a lot of fat. You might be able to sub the white flour for whole wheat flour to at least add some nutrients. Try looking up some recipes from Ellie Krieger. Her recipes usually cut down on the fat/calories, increase nutrients, and taste pretty good. Her mixed berry cobbler is very good and might satisfy your scone craving.

I just posted a recipe for scones. Can someone PLEASE help me to make it healthier? I know that I could probably use fat free sour cream but what about the rest of the recipe??????????? PLEASE HELP?????????

15 oz box of raisins
2 sticks of butter (room temp)
1 1/4 cups sugar
16 oz sour cream
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
