The Mommy and Me thing sounds pretty cool I might have to hit the web and see if I can find something because even at 2 he pays close attention to what we do and we have gotten little two lb hand weights and he walks around with them and says he is exercising (so cute).

I hope by rejoining the community we can help each other and give each other the drive we need to succeed.

I am losing my motivation too....but if we stick together and support one another i know we can do this

How about a "Mommy and Me" type class where you do your exercises with your child? I don't know who might offer them in your area, but it would be worth a shot...

I notice we are about the same size, and I am darn busy too.. That menatally drained feeling can be a BEE_ATCH. You just don't wanna!

You can trick yourself though: when you drive home, instead of repeating to yourself I'm tired...I'm tired...omg this sucks I've had it. Think: AHHHHhhhh home! I'm going to make a damn healthy supper. I'm just that good. And when I'm done with that I'm going to do a 20 min Spark people video, and then I get to chill with the hubby (or whatever it is)

But turn it into a positive. Even if you're doing it in a kinda over the top cheerful yeah-as if way, it starts to turn you around.

FAKE it until you make it!

Yea and as far as my husband keeping the little one so I can exercise, that's difficult to do when I work days and he works nights. I understand the importance of small goals, I am just the type of person that wants it now rather than later I don't like to have to wait for things so it gets me down knowing that I want something but can't have it when I want it. I know that sounds bad because if it was that easy there would be no weight issues for anyone and that's something I need to deal with.

I would also look at your reasons for wanting to get healthy. If i were you, the two year old would be motivation and inspiration enough. Don't you want to be there for the toddler? Is the baby enough for you to get past having to wake early in the morning or exercising after a strenuous day. it certainly would be for me.
Personally, if it gave me extra seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months with my nieces and nephews nothing would keep me from eating healthy and exercising and following the healthiest routine possible.

I think restarting your P90X program is an excellent idea. Also, even though you aren't a morning person, if that's the time that you CAN go to the gym, try to break free and do it a few times and see how it goes. Can your husband stay with your child when you go? I find that getting out of my house to exercise in the early mornings sets my day up just right, and then I am motivated to not "undo" what I did in the gym by eating the wrong things the rest of the day. I am not an afternoon/evening person as far as exercise goes, so I have to do it when I'm in the right mindset.

And you are right- if you don't make the choices now, in a day or week, or a month, or a year, you'll be regretting the fact that you did not stay committed TODAY.

Well, you've got the awareness (when you said, I always do this to myself)-- if we always do what we always did, we'll always get what we always got. Sort of a convoluted way of saying, if we want change, we have to change.

And being not a morning person-- and then too drained at night to workout.... you have to find a solution. Perhaps your DH can watch your little one while you exercise in the evening. Or maybe you can find something different like a dance aerobics-- little kids love dancing-- and do it "with" your toddler. Perhaps you can choose the "lesser of the two evils" and bite the bullet, and exercise in the morning.

And maybe after 60 days of the same workout video, it's just time to find something else to do. I know I'd be losing interest and motivation, after 60 days of the same thing! There are tons of different kinds of workout videos-- and Spark has loads of stuff on here, for free. You can also find stuff on Youtube for free. Lots of stuff that's only 10 or 15 minutes long, so if you decide to try the morning, you're not committing to get up a whole hour early. Or after a long day, you're not facing 40 minutes of something.

Yesterday was day 60 of P90X for my husband and I but recently I haven't had asynchronous determination as I did starting out. I always do this to my self and I don't know why. I know that if I don't work past this and just give up like normal ill never get off of the weightloss/gain roller coaster that I'm on. Also it doesn't help that I am NOT a morning person and when I get home from work at night I'm so mentally drained that all i want to do is sit and decompress not do strenuous activity. I think I might have to restart the P90X program since I haven't have it my and see if that is enough to make me stick with it this time idk. I also have thought about rejoining my local planet fitness but them again I would have to get up super early and right after work. PLUS I have a 2 ur old so that only adds to the situation. Need help/support.
