I love Christmas and will be making lots of healthy seasonal treats and plan on maintaining my weight, definitely not gaining. So it'll be business as usual with a holiday twist!

Now that our DD and family has moved back form being out of state the past three Christmas seasons we will celebrate with them and our son. No more traveling to get to see them for the holidays.

I love Christmas and the fact my birthday is Dec 15 and my DH is Dec 16 makes it a great month!

this year we stay home for Christmas.

I can really enjoy it now that we don't buy gifts (other than for the small kids). That means I can take several angels off the tree at church and get things for somebody who really NEEDS it, and the stress level is much lower. I have a blast shopping for Angel Tree gifts!

In the past we have visited family a week before or a week after Christmas. I am not sure if we will do that this year.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I will probably be at home with just my daughter and husband playing games or watching movies. We generally plan a special meal but not a giant feast. We like to relax quietly on holidays.

Going out east to visit my family this year. Yay! I live on the other side of the country, so I don't get to see them very frequently. I am super excited! This will be the first time that my husband will be going out with me. We were just married this summer, but he hasn't met some of my family, so this will be his first time meeting some of them.

I don't usually celebrate Christmas as I am neither religious nor materialistic. The amount of waste/damage to the environment done by Christmas celebrations in the US can be really disturbing. I can't do the regular Christmas cooking either unless a bunch of people show up to eat, since I can't have most of that stuff.

I may have some friends from Saudi Arabia visiting at that time this year--if so, I will have a tree for them since they love Christmas. Go figure.

Same scene in my house -- kids and their friends spend Christmas Eve at our house, and on Christmas Day, they go home and celebrate at their own homes. Husband and I then recuperate!

I'll be with family, though since a number of them work in hospitals, some of them may be working a portion of the day. I have already started on my Christmas shopping and am well on my way to done for a good number of people that I buy for. I hate to go to stores after Thanksgiving, so I try to get it out of the way before then. :)

My husband and I will probably spend the day with my family. Maybe we'll bring his mom with if she chooses to come. I probably have to start buying presents or I won't have enough money.

We already have ads out and it's not even Halloween yet! Christmas is definitely a time to splurge a little :D

Around here the ads for Christmas start right after Halloween. It gets earlier and earlier each year! I don't have any plans for Christmas yet except to have a good time and try not to go overboard with eating (well maybe a little bit).

I'm planning to go to a hotel buffet this Christmas with a friend or several friends. Depending on who wants to go with me. It will cost me a bomb though, but hey, Christmas only comes once a year! I'm budgeting like RM100 or below, bcoz if it's above RM100, it'll be way to expensive.

The ads for Christmas spreads will probably be out by November, then I'll plan where I want to go depending on the menu!

What are your Christmas plans?!
