Agreed that this is a great plan!!! You go!!!

Are you a reader? Something that I tend to do is read certain authors, or series of books. So a possibility might be getting a new book (in the series, or by the author).

Do you have any other hobbies? Jigsaw puzzles? Sewing? Crafting? Anything along those lines? Those have projects that you could build on.

Like to support local art and/or nature things? Make a list of all in your city ... for example, the zoo, however many local art museums listed out separately, local historical sites, etc. Then you could take the time to do them one at a time, as your reward, working through your list.

Hope these ideas help!!

how about earning an extra long soak in the tub. (especially nice if you have kids. let the husband take care of them for awhile).

Give yourself a facial, pedicure or manicure.

maybe you earned a nice leisurely walk with your significant other or some friends.

How about a girls night out.

Sounds cheesy, but it worked for a friend of mine-- for everything she did that day to help her reach goal, she added stickers to a calendar or sheet of paper. She had little gym shoes for working out, she had forks, knives, spoons and plates for eating good choices, she had smiley faces for when she felt good or turned a negative into a positive and she had a pillow or bed sticker if she managed her 7-8 hours of sleep and of course a water glass for each glass of water she drank. She compiled them into a book and now have two or three filled. Her husband and children could add to her stickers as well if she earned one from them.-- reading a story, taking a walk with her husband, etc.

Pirateking...I like rewarding consistency, what a great idea!

I'm rewarding goals and weight loss. So dropping a size or losing 10lbs. My rewards include things like a new YSL lipstick, a massage, a healthy cooking class, new outfit, new shoes.

The idea of building on a reward system could be tied to a new workout outfit...buying one piece at a time? The charm idea is good, even though you can't wear it at still have free time when you could wear it.

I already have a reward system in place for sticking with my workout plan. Every 25 days I give myself a prize (a new movie, cookbook, get my eyebrows done, etc). I like to reward consistency not poundage lost. (107 days in a row - so I think it's a good plan!)

Anyway, now I am trying to add the focus on the food side of things. I hate tracking food, and struggle with it... so I plan on giving myself a reward for ever day I track all my food. At this point I don't care if I'm over my cal range or even that I do it every day. I just need to get into the habit of DOING IT. Losing weight and being healthy are not good enough motivators for me. I need prizes. ;)

So with that in mind, I'd like to give myself a small reward for every 10 days, but I'd like the reward to build on its self.... Like the idea of a charm bracelet - except I can't wear one at work. :( (or charm necklace or anklet.)

Money isnt a motivator for me, so saving up for something is out. I've read the reward articles and their ideas are things that would fall into my 25days prizes.

Thoughts? Ideas?
