Hello, it has been awhile! Things could be going a bit better in all areas in my life, but right now I can't expect perfection especially since I am depressed. Well I am actually noticing an improvement in my moods. I would like to exercise today. I want to do some strength and core and cardio exercises too. Things are going well with my kiddo too! I have a hockey game to go to early this am, and I should be back at around 10ish depending on the traveling. IT HAS DEFINITELY GOTTEN COLD OUT! WINTER IS FINALLY HERE! Only I really would love for this season to pass by very quickly, I could do without winter.

Hello!! I THOUGHT today would be a great day to write here. I walked my daughter to school this morning. We had a good time. I also will be picking her up with the dog later. (walking). I called my mom's cell and we are also going to go for a walk early this AM. THen I will have to do either strength or cardio or both. I have been killer with my workouts! (getting a lot done) emoticon emoticon I am still doing the BLC Orange Team Challenge! I am doing ok, while I could be doing a little better, it is hard to do EVERY challenge. It will be a busy day for me today. I will be cutting cucumbers for canning pickles. I will be spending the day at my mom's house doing that. Then sometime I will have to make some time to exercise. Things are going great. I had 3 lite beers last night. Oh well, could be worse. I will have to restart today. This morning I had oatmeal and cantaloupe. I also watched a VERY GREAT movie called Silver Linings Playbook. It was SO AWESOME. I am now longing for finding love.

Again today, I am putting off my exercises. My motivation is so gone because usually I am so excited and can't wait to do them. Well, I just have to continue anyway.

I think today I will walk outside instead of doing my cardio walk dvd. That may make me feel a little better to get out in the crisp fall air. I did take the dog for a walk early this morning. It was nice!

I will be doing my Leslie Sansone ABS dvd though. But I will have to take some advil first due to the pain those muscles were giving me. I will get used to it though, I do plan on doing that same dvd 2-3 times a week. For a few weeks. It may or may not shave some inches of my buldging waist and stomach. I will have to admit, it is tons better then it was. I am beginning to see definition too. I feel great fit even. I know I have tons of weight to lose too, it's just I do feel GREAT now!

Now I realize that motivation comes and goes, but I just have to stick with my commitment! I have been so up and down with it, but I will just make the most of it. I like it when the motivation is at a high, but when it is low, I hate having to force myself to workout and follow healthy eating.

Right now I am in a depressed state. I have been speaking to professionals too, so no worries there. I actually took the dog for a walk this am, and I feel a lot better than I did. I know things could be a lot worse for me, but sometimes I get in such a rut that it seems like things are SO bad when in all actuality they are not.

To lighten the talk, my sister had her baby by C-Section. Both she and the baby are doing well! His name is Max and he is over 6lbs. It will take her some time to get back into the swing of things, and she is in a lot of pain, but all in all thank heavens she and the baby are o.k.

My neck is about 100% better. That is wonderful. I did push ups today along with bicycle crunches and it was ok. Great news!!

Motivation is slipping. I hurt my neck on Sat. and it is still hurting today. I will still be doing my walking dvd today though, even thru the pain. Saw the Disney movie Planes today with my daughter. It was good. Ate some of that movie popcorn, and had a diet soda. Not good choices but they are over and done with. Time to read some motivational stories to get that back up there.

My motivation is thru the roof! I am doing pretty well. Wondering if I had any gain due to eating some chips that were not measured or counted out. I estimated when I recorded them in my journal, and even added what I thought to be more then I really ate.

I have been doing GREAT with my exercise. With getting that in, I have been faithful! Walk DVD every day for 45 minutes and strength 3x weekly for 45 minutes.

I did pretty awesome today. I have eaten around 613 less calories. I know it will just hurt me in the long run, but I don't know what else to eat AND it is 6:12 pm.

I worked out to Leslie Sansone 5K with a twist. That was an AWESOME workout!!! I LOVE the jog bit emoticon

I went shopping today! Had a good time too. walked around at the mall quite a bit. around 2 hours we spent at the stores. Had a terrific day. Oh, AND I bought Season 3 of The Walking Dead!! LOVE IT!!

Things are really going well. I am getting a lot of exercise in and just feeling well overall. Today after strength and cardio, I think I will help my mom with her summer apples. She is planning on making applesauce and apple sweets to put in the freezer until ready to eat. I just will not bring any home. emoticon The Good Lord knows I do not need any of those!! I would like some applesauce for my blueberry flax muffins I so love to make. I have a bunch of frozen blueberries!!

WOW, I am getting tired. It is only going on 5am, and I am ready to go back and lay down! What the heck, I CANNOT feel this way! I am going to have to start my strength dvd soon.

I'm in the biggest loser challenge!! I am on the ORANGE TEAM!! I also had a terrible slip up yesterday and this morning. Things really went downhill, but I threw away the rest of the trail mix and now the rest of this day is a brand new time to get real with myself and change. Today is kind of raining, but I have decided to walk anyway. My daughter will have to decide if she wants to come with me, or if she wants to go to her cousin's house so I can get on with my program. Or I can do a leslie sansone in home walking video. I don't really know what I will do yet, but whatever I choose to do, I am going to give it my all.

I'm just waiting for my little muffin to wake up so I can go burn some calories jogging and walking. Today is day 1 week 2 of my walk jog program. I did very well the last time, I'm hoping to get similar results this time.

I am a little nervous for this week. I have my daughter and it usually is very hard to get her to come and walk with me. So I know that school starts Wednesday and it will be easy to go after she is at school, but what about today, tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday? I am going to explain that mom needs to walk for health and so on and so does she.

I got all cardio in for today, I might even be considering another go around. I am purely exhausted today!! I think everything is catching up with me! So another person wrote a comment on my blog about losing weight. Like a half of a pound to 2pounds. So I never really could figure out how the calculations worked, but I think I have got it now. Actually when I think I have it, in truth, I don't. I know it's easy for some to get the hang of, but I keep struggling and I can't help it. I don't mean to be like that, but I just can't grasp the idea......

I work out (cardio) about 5 hours. Give or take. I haven't included yet strength and I know I should but I am really dragging my feet here. I just want to make sure my routine is flawless, meaning that I will do it everyday (cardio) and have no interruptions. 1 pound loss = -3,500 calories. How in the heck do I plan for that??? Like I have to go back and figure out what I burn in calories working out, then plan my dinners??? I now realize that weight loss is more nutrition than exercise. Meaning I have to watch what I eat more then how much I work out. Working out is only 20% of the equation?? Wow, incredible. I think I am understanding more.

I did get all my cardio in for today already!! Maybe I could also take some more's for better health?? Right?? I have been having a pain in my back. I'm a little worried since I haven't had any pain like that before, but I guess I will be ok.

Today I will want to get in some push-ups, bicycle crunches, and some strength exercises. deadlifts, rows, arm raises, etc. I do have my bar too that I could use... I always forget about that and go to using my dumbbells. Maybe I will do one of the videos I have from Body Pump. I haven't really made up my mind yet. But I will later.

For lunch I will be having an outing with my mom. It should be great!! She has been a really big supporter FOR ME, this time. She is really positive about this 5k I will be doing too. It's AWESOME.....

I started with walking the dog. Then I did a walk for me. It felt terrific! I am also going blueberry picking with my mom, then we will go for another walk for not just me this time but us. Things are really turning out positive. I mean, yes there is a lot of room for improvement, but hey, baby steps, right? I am trying to start the book by the flylady. I heard it was really good, but I can't seem to really get started. I am trying to focus on a little at a time and this is just not working. But I will try harder because I really want to get organized too. After blueberry picking we need to freeze them and then we will hopefully not be too tired for the 2nd walk because I am doing it. The first walk was around 1/2 mile. and the 2nd I took today was 1.5 miles. Then hopefully I will get another 1.5 in. Wish me luck........

I changed my member name!! I thought lovelylulu would be more positive then lazylulu!! I have been eating great too!! I really just have to get the fitness back today. To try a little harder. I woke up with a severe migraine yesterday. It lasted till about 11am. I tried and tried to get rid of that sucker. And believe you me, I rested the whole morning away. I am just going to get up and workout pretty soon. I don't think I can put it off much longer. I think since the weather has cooled down a bit too, that I will go for a bike ride too!! I haven't ridden it in my town yet. Here let me explain that to you a bit... I had it at my mom's home town and rode it around there. It is easier there then here, because my streets are all uphill. But I will be riding it today for something good and fun to help time fly by. Pretty soon I have to give my mom her daily "wake up" phone call. So good bye for now, and I hope you have a wonderful sparkfilled day.....

Things are going swell. Well should I say that is short for SO WELL? I really can do this. Just a month or two I had my doubts... I would come on this site just to spin the wheel. Now I feel like I am contributing a good deal! That is a good feeling!

My daughter comes home today. (I can't wait). I also wonder if she will notice any changes in me? Not just in my appearance, but in my walk or talk or attitude or even the bounce in my step? I wonder....

I am cooking a pork roast in the crock pot for dinner. We haven't had that in so long. Today I will make a promise to myself... I will eat on our smaller salad plates and stick to what is on my plate. I will not go for 2nds, and if I do it will be for veggies or fruit. I will serve myself smaller portions then what I would have (when food controlled me instead of me controlling the food). I will set a good example for my daughter: I want to show her lifelong healthy eating habits instead of eating until movement is not an option! Getting a hug from her today will be GREAT!! I HAVE MISSED HER THIS WEEK!!

Hi!! I am having a pretty darn good day! My daughter just called me. She is camping with her Meme and father. She gets to come home tomorrow!! I finished Day 4 of the 30 day Shred today!! I feel wonderful! I have really been in control of what I eat and how much. It seems to be falling into place. I haven't gotten on my Wii fit yet today...but I may in a few minutes. I would like to measure myself to see if I have lost any inches. It sure feels like I have, but I will wait for a few weeks.

Dinner is going to consist of Blueberrries and... I have to have other things, but I'm not yet sure what I will have. I also have some red, yellow, and orange peppers (mild) in the fridge. Maybe I will chew on one of those. I have some fish fillets in the fridge. Parmesan Tilapia ? maybe. Last time It was good!!

Finished Day 3 of the 30 Day Shred today!! I am so proud. I am going to do this and do it well. Basically...I would like to see 20 pounds come off this month! (That is the most you can lose on this program). And I think that is terrific!! I have already lost, feel a big difference in my energy levels, and I am totally loving that my shirt is lose today around the middle!! thanks Jillian for the abs work. Anyway, today I have to go get oil changed and then I'm on my way! For breakfast preworkout I had an Activia Yogurt and post workout I had strawberry light Activia Yogurt! For mid morning, I will have a piece of Rye toast with a little I can't believe it's not butter light. I am really cutting back on what I eat in the AM. I wish I could sit down and eat a bowl of oatmeal, but I really don't feel like it in these warm months. Oatmeal for me is more of a cereal for in the cooler months. Anyway, I hope you are all having a sparkfilled day. and if you are not.....may the spark be with you!! ;)

I had a so-so day today. I feel kind of crappy, but I will be getting over that soon! I am procrastinating my exercise. Like I said, If I don't get it done first thing in the AM, it probably will not get done.

Zumba was the theme @ my fitness party tonight. Even though there was only 1 guest (me) and 1 spectator (my dog), it was a lot of fun! I sweated a lot and worked it for 20 minutes which I don't think I could have gone much longer. I also did the cool down...I really liked that part!!

I did the Zumba on my Wii. The game just came in today by UPS. Wow the delivery man scared my daughter and I so much that my daughter ran and hid behind the living room chair! Well so is life. Sometimes you get scared, sometimes you don't.

Anyway, to get back to the Zumba: I kept up really well and boy did I move. It wasn't too hard, only I want to look better like irresistible while swaying my hips from side to side. ((But that will take some time, when I get smaller)). At first my Wii fit told me yesterday I lost 1.8 pounds. Then today it said I gained .4? But I think that is due to the fact that it's the time of the month for me. (or I like to say having my monthly). My goal for tonight is no eating past 7 pm and to drink 2 more cups of water before bedtime. Happy day, Happy day....

Tonight I worked out to a fitness blender video. I had a very difficult time getting the moves down pact. Which I don't think I did, but I did try. I sweated a lot and got really hot. Now I am cooling down.

I have been taking my daily multi vitamin everynight @ 8pm. and now I think it is finally starting to kick in due to the fact that I am not tired one bit. And that worries me just a tad, because I am an early riser as it is. 2-3:00Am is the time I usually get up. No matter what time I go to bed. That is the time I get up. My nightgown is soaked. It will be a shock to my body to go up to bed when I am ready in the A.C. I will probably just lay in bed tossing and turning. I will go up soon. Goodnight everyone, pleasant dreams!!

It's been a while since I last wrote, so here it goes....

I have been eating a lot of veggies and fruits. Last night we did have hamburger, but I put it on the George Foreman, so it didn't sit in the grease. Things are going pretty well. I have decided to track at home and not add it online. It will be so much easier for me. I have a really simple tracking sheet to follow. I am really excited. I am doing it well!! Did a lot of exercise too. Will do some more today as soon as the advil kicks in. Good luck to you and me!!

I met a friend. I am so happy that we found eachother. We have similar experiences in a way. Life is good!!

She came at a time when I was beginning to doubt. Even though things are better now, every now and again something pops into my life where I feel as though it is a situation that I may not be able to handle, I do and I still can. No one said life was easy, and I guess we just assume it will always be?? I wonder why that is.... Oh well. God never gives us what we can't handle. Hopefully that always rings true.

I accomplished my 2 mile walk dvd. I feel wonderfully sweaty. Today I have to get my daughter out of school early and take her to the dentist. Tomorrow I have to go to the obgyn for my yearly pap. Hopefully everything turns out ok. Tomorrow we are also planning a trip to NY for a new bike for my daughter's birthday. She is going to LOVE it. Hopefully we will get a lot of riding in this summer. Along with the Taylor Swift concert. Wow, I can't believe how soon that is approaching. Then the week after the concert is her hockey summer camp. Busy busy busy time of the year for us!!

I completed 1 mile of the Leslie Sansone walk program. I feel pretty good this morning. I am a little bit tired, but I can live with that. Yesterday I got anxiety. Nothing too bad, but it was anxiety none the less. Today will be a good day. Filled with making good choices.

Today I am thinking about the song Touch of Gray by the Grateful Dead. It's a good song that makes me feel peppy.

Day 1 Walk 1. I can't wait till day 2, walk 2. The ankle didn't hurt too bad. A few times it did, but nothing major. But I am getting pains in my belly every now and again. I don't know what that is, but I will be getting things checked out sooner or later. I have a pap coming up on May 29th. I just made the apt. today! Happy about that. HappyHappyHappy!! emoticon

Things are going great. I get my daughter today and thru the week. Life is good!!

I haven't started my cardio exercises yet since hurting my ankle. I really want to, yet I just never get around to it....(a deadly combination). Last night I did pull an all nighter watching the vampire diaries. It was good. Today I can take the day to a) either get back on track with my resting or b) watch more of my show.... Who knows what I will do, but once I pop I can't stop!!

I will be starting as soon as I can with exercising. I think I will give my ankle till Tomorrow to recuperate, then I will jump right in with my Leslie Sansone walking video. But I will take it easy and pay attention to how my ankle is feeling.

Yesterday I over did it with a Mother's Day Cake, but I threw the rest away...and that is a very good feeling, to be able to do that!!

Today I will mop the floors and do some cleaning, I also will be doing my you tube video of meditation. It lasts around 12 minutes, so that is perfect!! I did want to make some of my Dry Garlic ribs, but I really don't know if I will do that or not. I bought a few LBS last night and wanted to share them with my mom and John because I know they absolutely LOVE them!! Happy Mother's Day to All!!! Jen

I am trying to make my mind up to get back to the mentality of wanting to start again. But I think I may be doing it all wrong. I think what I have to do is stop thinking so much and just start doing. Today I am going to walk. Today I will track my food. I really have to do this for me. And all worthy of all good. I am energetic this day. I am going to get healthy. I am strong. I am meeting my goals with an abundance.

I now do the sparkpeople generated upper body strength instead of my video. Today I haven't done walk away the pounds yet, but I may or may not. I just don't know yet. I have an apt in 45 minutes, so I will have to prepare soon. This weekend is the festival. I don't have too much money to take my daughter, but some will be enough. (she just will hear no when she asks for things). I also will have to have a talk with her prior to leaving for it. But it's a good way to get a nice walk in. Tomorrow also is Green Up day @ the Field she plays softball in so hopefully that will not be cancelled and we can get some calorie burning raking leaves in. HOPEFULLY!!

I have been doing squats with my strength exercises. I have overdone it with my knee. It hurts. But today I did 45 minutes of walking away the pounds. It turned out well. MY knee didn't really hurt. I feel really good right now, and hopefully I can keep this up. I will most definitely go for a walk later with my mother too. Today is Wednesday....I think I will have to do my strength training minus the squats. Good heavens!!

I have to forgive myself. I didn't do any exercise except for walking for 10 minutes yesterday. I was just worried because I was wondering if I was overdoing it with the exercise bit. But I don't really think I am now. I accomplished my 3 miles walk away the pounds dvd. Wow, I feel great. Next, sometime today I will have to do my strength training for 30ish minutes. I guess you can say that by the way I feel, I am NOT overdoing it.

I still am motivated! That's great for me. Usually I give up by now, but I am going strong and steady. This past 9 days, I have lost 7 pounds! That is awesome! I am fighting my drowsy feeling this morning. I think it is my new medication. I am on Celexa now to help with my anxiety. This morning I had 2 egg whites boiled for breakfast along with some sugar free jello. Hopefully I don't get hungry later this morning.

I have also kept up with exercise everyday!! That is very incredible for me. I am definitely going to do the walk away the pounds 3 mile walk today. It is still pretty cold and wet out to go walking out there, so I will stick to indoor routines for now. I may also do some stretching routine on dvd. Not sure yet. I will keep you posted though!! Have a fun day, make it count!!

I can stay motivated. I can stop nighttime munching, I can conquer my weight loss goals, I can exercise everyday, I can keep this up everyday.

I am brilliant, I am beautiful on the inside and out. I am deserving of all good, I am kind and I am going to lose a lot of weight!! I am strong!!!!

emoticon emoticon emoticon Today I feel strong!! I did flow of the pump dvd's/ which is yoga moves. I did it for 12 minutes. Now I feel great too!! Currently I am trying to control my eating. I really would like to shrink my stomach a little. I know it is stretched way out due to my "old" overeating behavior. Anyway, I did eat a yogurt for breakfast. That was it, and my stomach is a little hungry, but manageable. I really want to control my meals for breakfast. THat is when I tend to be the most hungry and use the most points. I really eat 2x's and I would like to break it down to 1. So. Yogurt is good!!

I didn't go for a walk yet. I am worried I will have to go to the bathroom during the exercise, so I don't really want to go. I think I will do my Leslie Sansone walking video. I will do the 2 or 3 mile one. Seeing since I have options. I have tons of exercise dvd's and it is just about picking the right one I will stay interested in.

My stomach is little sore due to my monthly. I didn't want to bring it up, but it is hard because it has been a constant pain this time.

Something that is stressing me out: my new neighbor's are parking right behind me. The neighbor's that have been there for 1 year now are not parking in their designated spot and they are on the other side of the driveway behind me, so I cannot get out. This appears that it is going to be an on-going thing seeing since I guess I am going to have to speak up...I shouldn't have to "put up"

I am brilliant, I am beautiful and I am worthy, I am going to be healthy, I am going to exercise today. I can conquer nighttime eating for good, I can do anything I set my mind to, I can replace my unhealthy habits with healthy ones, I can keep my table "clutter free" and I can stay motivated.

I can't wait to get this day started. I have started a generic Celexa medication a couple days ago. It makes me feel really drowsy. I don't really like it. I can't wait to get this day started reason being, I can't wait to go walking. Today I have to drop my daughter off at school first, but then I am going to walk for about 1 hour, or however long my bladder can hold up. yesterday we had to stop at 40 minutes due to me having to go to the bathroom. Then when I feel it coming on, I can't seem to stop thinking about it, anyway, I didn't mean to write so much about it, and I'm sorry.

Other than that, I'm not planning much. Things are going well.

Here we go: I am motivated, I am beautiful on the inside and out, I am all deserving of all good, I am smart, and I am worth it!!
I can stay motivated everyday, I can replace all of my unhealthy habits with wholesome, healthy habits. I can live thru feeling bad or sad because I know those feelings will eventually lift, I can keep my table "clutter free", and I can tame nighttime eating.

Yesterday was a WONDERFUL day. I walked and walked and walked!! For a total of 2 hours even. It was great. Slept like a baby, only woke up a few times too. I received my Weight Watchers @ home Kit. Things are really going wonderfully!! Today I am LOVIN' LIFE. I am feeling very positive and happy with all the changes taking place. Weight.....down to 216 lbs. YAY

Let me start off by saying: I am beautiful on the inside and outside. I am Capable of anything I set my mind to. I am losing weight. I am doing well. I am smart and I am happy. Next, I can keep up with these healthy life changes. I can and am deserving of this good life. I can tame the nighttime munching habit I so desperately want to break, I can keep a clean table "clutter free" We can financially be comfortable now and forever. There are my 5 -I am's and my 5- I can's.

It is what it is, and it will be what it will be.......I have to remind myself of this as I am thinking about the news I found out yesterday. This makes the pill easier to swallow. I can also remind myself that it is not my life, and to a degree, this helps.

On a different path, I have noticed that a few weeks ago when I would get angry at something that happened in my life I could feel my emotion come on very strong and course through my body. It worried me, but it appears that this experience has gone away, which I am thankful for. I didn't really like those angry feelings. I told my therapist, who said she would relay that to my dr. I see my dr. today. I can't wait. I want to see what he says about that.

I have been doing really well on the program. I am finding that I am eating very close to the high range in my calorie allotment for each day. And that worries me. I weighed myself on Monday and then again on Thursday ((for a team challenge)), and the scale said I am back up to 220 lbs. which would have been a 2 lb. gain from the previous weigh-in. Oh, no. Hopefully that is just a fluctuation in my water weight or whatever else it could be. But I have been getting in my fitness!! Everyday too!! I have been drinking my water, and even going over the 8 cups.((even if I don't record it)). Things are going well. Energy levels are good. Better in the Am.... Stress, well that is another story, but I have it ok, I guess.....

First, let me start off by saying: I can keep up with these healthy life changes. I can get caught up with my old/"back" debt as I call it. I can become organized, hone in on my housekeeping, and tame my clutter. I can eat healthier then I did yesterday; and I definitely can tame the nighttime munching habit I so desperately want to break. There are my 5 can's for today!!
Next, I will add my I am's. I am beautiful just as I am. I am worthy and I do deserve good things. I am capable of achieving anything I do not give up on. I am able to have a restful sleep and not to get up as often and for such long periods. I am as I am, and there is none like me.


Here's a large girl desperately wanting to be buff. Here's to the large girl that now says enoughsenough. I'm this large girl that waddles down the street and adverts my eyes to every person that I meet, I always didn't feel this way as I feel about myself today, I once had courage, energy, and love, respect for myself that I wore like a glove. There's nothing left those qualities are gone, to earn them back will be hard and the process long...

I will never totally give up on these changes I must face. And how loving myself as I am must always take first place. Oh stomach, stomach, you must go have gotten to big to maneuver each day. My arms have loose skin that can shake to and fro, my legs are quite large, but muscular I know. THese thighs, not chickens I could do without, the hang of my chins are doubled no doubt. I'm not picking on myself or even trying to be mean-just taking note of the places I wish could be lean. Wow, LOving thyself is hard to do, when you let it go for all those years. I hope you all enjoy this rhyme, as much as I enjoyed it too!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
