I worked out for 25 minutes last night. I thought with all of the strength training classes I was doing that I wouldn't be sore. Boy was I wrong. I can't wait until next week to do another video.

Keep up the good work. I think kettle Ball workouts are very demanding if you put the effort into it. It can be very rewarding health wise. Have a great day.

This is great info. Have wanted to try the kettles but hadn't talked/read anything about them until Spark. Thanks for the input!

Just registered with livefitrevolution. I'm so excited. Wish I was home so I could start the first workout.

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and for your suggestions. I really appreciate it! I'm going to stick with this kettlebell thing and see where it takes me. It seems like for as much hard work as I'll be putting into it, the payoff will be great.

Fantastic, aren't they? You certainly know you've done a workout! And such a compact, efficient one. I'll never forget my trainer introducing me to them. I had a conversation with a friend once, recommending them to him as he was looking to tone up and build muscle, and he agreed enthusiastically - he said he'd had a colleague who lost so much weight and toned up so much by using them that his friends and workmates dubbed him "Kettle" as a nickname. Good luck with them!

The Bob Harper kettelbell workout was the first one I got when I bought kettlebells. I was only able to go for 15 minutes the first time I did it.....I thought my heart was going to pump out of my chest! But I stuck with it and I made sure that each time I did it I would go at least one minute longer than I did the previous time. Now, I get through it no problem and that has been a huge victory for me. You have to work hard to get the results. Don't give up just because you can't get through the whole workout. Keep at it and watch your body get stronger...

try the free videos at

They're taught by an RKC certified instructor, which is the most respected in the kettlebell world..unlike Bob Harper, who has no kettlebell certification that I know of.

I received a set of kettlebells as a wedding gift a few years back and haven't really used them since then, but in the spirit of getting in shape and keeping my budget in shape too, I want to make use of what I have. The DVD that came with them has disappeared, so instead I checked out two Bob Harper Kettlebell DVDs from my local library. They are tough! It's very difficult for me to keep up with them and I find myself practically dying about a half hour into them if I try and do everything that the people on the DVD are doing.

Does anyone have any recommendations for something with a slower pace, or that gradually works you up in terms of the fitness levels so that you aren't pulling all of your muscles in one go?
